MBA admissions will be provided through entrance examination. Students have to qualify any one of the national or university level exams to get admission. Candidates also have to go through the other admission rounds (group discussion, personal interview, etc.).
Candidates can apply through national level examinations like CAT (Common Admission Test) and MAT (Management Aptitude Test). Most of the colleges give admissions in management courses on the basis of CAT scores. Apart from CAT & MAT exams, students can also apply through XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test), CMAT (Common Management Admission Test), GMAT (Graduate Management Admission test) & ATMA (AIMS Test for Management Admissions) scores.

Students have to clear the entrance exam to get admission in management programme. Before applying for the entrance test, candidates should check their eligibility. Here we are providing the basic eligibility for admission in MBA course:
- Candidates must have qualified the graduation degree (any stream) from any recognized college or university.
- Candidates appearing in the final year are also eligible to apply.
- In the qualifying exam, students must have secured the 50% marks (for general) and 45% marks (for reserved categories).
In Chennai, students will be shortlisted for admission on the basis of marks scored in the entrance test or qualifying exam. Shortlisted candidates will be able to participate for the further admission rounds. Various colleges organize their separate admission rounds like personal interview, group discussion, etc.
