Candidates get the admission in law course i.e. LL.B (3 years) and LL.B (Integrated-5 years) after participating in the counselling process. This exam is also known by the name of Maharashtra Law CET.

MH CET Law Counselling 2026

The authority organises the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) through online mode. Students those have qualified the examination under the released cut-off are able to participate in counselling. The counselling procedure is organised in various rounds.

The counselling process comprise of registration, choice filling, allotment, document verification and reporting to the allotted college. Counselling registration has been started for 5 Yrs LLB and 3 Yrs LLB courses. Final merit list will be released in July 2026 for 5 Yrs LLB.

First seat allotment will be released on first week of August 2026 for LLB 5 Yrs & second week of August 2026 for LLB 3 Yrs. Final merit list for 3 year LLB will be released. Alphabetic merit list of first round will be released in second week of July 2026 for LLB 5 Years.

Final merit list will be released in second week of August 2026 for second round of LLB 3 Years. Alphabetic Test for CAP Round III will be released in fourth week of August 2026 for LLB 3 Years.

MH CET Law 2026 Cut Off marks are the minimum qualifying marks which will be fixed by the university separately for each course. DHE Maharashtra sets the cut-off marks for both 5 year and 3 year LLB courses.

MH CET Law Counselling Process 2026

Candidates have to follow the steps given below to take part in the counselling process.

  • Visit the online website link (Direct link is given above).
  • Click on the “New Registration” and register yourself by entering the details.
  • From the given college list, select the college in which you want to get admission to the provisional seat allotment.
  • The authority will publish the provisional seat allotment list on the website. If candidates have any objection they can file their grievance on due dates.
  • On publishing of final merit list candidates can select the courses on the basis of merit list.
  • Candidates will be allotted with the admission letter after which candidates have to visit the nearby facilitation centers for verification of documents.

  1. I have not been alloted any college since all the 3 rounds of cap has been over for 3 year llb , how can i get admission further please help…

  2. Sir my application was not qualified, i hhad cleared cet with 70 marks, is there any hope to get addmission.
