The National Institute of Design (NID) has released NID 2022 Exam Dates through online mode. NID entrance exam is a national level exam. It is organized for admission to the B.Des, GDPD and M.Des programs at NID campuses across India. NID exam will be conducted in two stages, i.e. Preliminary and Mains. After completion of both the exam, the authority will prepare final merit list. Candidates whose name will be in the merit list eligible for admission in NID campuses. Pre-Examination Schedule:
The NID 2022 Application Form has been made available from 5th October 2021. Last date to fill the application form is till 6th November 2021. The application form has been made available through online mode.
The conducting authority is provided facility to review and edit the application form from 6th to 13th October 2021.
The exam conducting authority has released the NID admit card 2022 for prelim exam. Admit card has been made available on 23rd December 2021 (DAT prelim). It has been released on 2nd June 2022 or B.Des Mains and M.Des Mains studio test.
NID 2022 Examination is conducted in two stages preliminary and mains. The DAT 2022 prelim exam has been conducted on 2nd January 2022. DAT 2022 main exam will be conducted from 6th to 24th June 2022 for M.Des and 18th June 2022 for B.Des.
The university will also release the cut off marks for providing admission in the respective course.
Post-Examination Schedule:
The authority will release the provisional answer key of NID prelim exam for all the set of the question papers. Candidates also have an option to challenge the answer key through online mode.
The final NID answer key for DAT prelim will be released in June 2022.
The NID 2022 Result for prelim exam has been declared on 23rd April 2022 for M.Des & on 30th April 2022 for B.Des and will be declared in fourth week of June 2022 for mains exam. The result will be made available in online mode. Based on score obtained in NID prelim separate merit list will be prepared for each category.
Based on the merit list of prelim exam eligible candidates will be called for NID DAT 2022 Mains. The final merit list will be prepared category-wise based on sum total of weightage score scored by candidate in prelim and mains exam.
The NID 2022 Counselling will be started from July 2022. Candidates with their name in the merit list will be called for counseling as per their rank.
The counselling procedure will be conducted through zoom meeting. Candidates will have to present all specified documents in original and copy for document verification.
