National Institute of Design (NID) has released NID 2024 Exam Dates through online mode. NID entrance exam is a national level exam. It is organized for admission to the B.Des, GDPD and M.Des programs at NID campuses across India. NID exam is conducted in two stages, i.e. Preliminary and Mains. After completion of both the exam, the authority will prepare final merit list. Candidates whose name will be in the merit list eligible for admission in NID campuses. Pre-Examination Schedule:
The NID 2024 Application Form has been made available from 8th September 2023. Last date to fill the application form is till 5th December 2023. The application form has been made available through online mode.
The conducting authority will also provided facility to review and edit the application form from 8th to 10th December 2023.
The exam conducting authority has released the NID admit card 2024 through online mode. Admit card is made available on 12th December 2023 (DAT prelim). It has been released on 13th April 2024 or B.Des Mains and 22nd February 2024 for M.Des Mains studio test.
NID 2024 Examination is conducted in two stages preliminary and mains. The DAT 2024 prelim exam is conducted on 24th December 2024. DAT 2024 main exam has been conducted from 3rd March to 6th April 2024 for M.Des and will be held on 27th & 28th April 2024 for B.Des.
The university will also release the cut off marks for providing admission in the respective course.
Post-Examination Schedule:
The authority will release the provisional answer key of NID prelim exam for all the set of the question papers. Candidates will also have an option to challenge the answer key through online mode. The final NID answer key for DAT will be released in February 2024.
The NID 2024 Result for prelim exam has been declared on 16th February 2024 for M.Des & will be declared on 4th April 2024 for B.Des and final result will be declared on 30th April 2024 for M.Des & for B.Des it will be declared on 21st May 2024 exam. The result will be made available in online mode on 21st May 2024 for B.Des courses. Based on score obtained in NID prelim separate merit list will be prepared by the authority for each category.
Based on the merit list of prelim exam eligible candidates will be called for NID DAT 2024 Mains. The final merit list will be prepared category-wise based on total sum of weightage score secured by the candidate in prelim and mains exam.
The NID 2024 Counselling will be started from for B.Des. courses. Candidates with their name in the merit list will be called for counselling as per their rank.
The counselling procedure is conducted through zoom meeting. Candidates will have to present all specified documents in original and copy for document verification.
