TNEA 2023 Application Form can be filled till 4th June 2023. It has been available through online mode. Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) is a state level admission procedure conducted every year. The admission is offered to candidates in various UG Engineering courses.

The TNEA is conducted by the Anna University. Qualified candidates in exam will get admission in various courses like B.E/ B.Tech in various government and private engineering colleges affiliated by Anna University. Here are the details about TNEA 2023 Application Form with some key instructions given below:

• The application form for TNEA 2023 has been released from 5th May 2023.
• The TNEA 2023 Application form is available through online mode.
• Candidate must check the eligibility norms before applying for the application form.
• Fill the application form with details like name, parent name, education qualification, email id, phone number, etc.
• Upload the scanned documents such as photograph and signature to complete the application form.
• There will be no correction facility provided to the candidates so fill the application form carefully.
• The last date to submit the application form is till 4th June 2023.
• Candidate must submit the application form and take the printout of it for future reference.

Application Fee:

• Application fee for TNEA 2023 can be paid through online mode.
• Candidates can pay the fee using Credit card, Debit card and Net Banking.

TNEA 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the TNEA 2023 given below:

Nationality:

• Candidates do not need to show Nativity Certificate if they have passed 8^th to 10^th class from Tamil Nadu state.
• Candidates who have passed 8^th to 12^th class or equivalent exam outside Tamil Nadu state then they have to show Original Nativity Certificate in electronic form/ digitally signed e-certificate.
• Children of Central Government Employees/ Public Sector can also apply for admission if their parents or guardians serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for past 5 years at the time of submission of application.
• Candidates who are Sri Lankan Tamil Refugees studied in Tamil Nadu will be eligible for exam. They have to show the following certificates:
  • Identification certificate from the Head Quarters Tehsildar
  • Those who have not registered in refugee camp should show original passport, visa and letter registered with Police Station.

Education Qualification:

• Candidate must pass 11^th and 12^th or its equivalent from any recognised board.
• Candidate must pass with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.

For Marine Engineering Branch:

• Qualification: Candidates must have passed their 12^th class or equivalent examination.
• Subject: Candidate must have passed with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English subjects.
• Marks: Candidate must have obtained at least 60% marks in PCM and minimum 50% marks in English.
• Age: The maximum age to apply for the exam will be 25 years.

How to Apply for TNEA 2023

Follow the steps to fill the online application form for TNEA 2023 below:

• Visit the website (link is available above).
• Candidates who want to apply for TNEA have to generate the User ID and Password.
• Then candidate have to enter the user id and password to login and register an online application.
• Click on “Go to Application” link for entering the details.
• Fill the details for application form such as Personal details, academic details, category, details of Common Entrance Test, permanent address, etc.
• Upload the scanned documents like photograph and signature to complete the application form.
• The format of uploading the scanned photograph must be in .jpg or .jpeg format.
• The format of scanned signature must be in .jpg or .jpeg format.
• After entering all the details candidate have to pay the fee through online mode using Credit card, Debit card, or Net Banking.
• Submit the application form and take the printout of the application form and fee receipt for future reference.
