VITEEE Counselling 2026
After the announcement of entrance exam results, VIT has started the counselling process. The counselling is organised through online mode. The selection and admission procedure is followed through single window counselling in Vellore/ Chennai/ Bhopal (MP)/ Amaravathi (AP) for all the B.Tech courses.
The merit list is released for the candidates who appear in the exam and are qualified. A unique rank is allotted to the candidates to appear in the counselling. On the merit list, candidates are also able to check the rank allotted to them.
Candidates are required to verify their documents on the counselling day. Also, the counselling status is released after each round of counselling. It shows the vacant seat status in each campus branch-wise. Candidates also have to pay the counselling fee to confirm their seats.

VITEEE Counselling Procedure 2026
Here, we are providing complete instructions & procedure of counselling:
- After VITEEE result declaration, a non-refundable counselling fee of Rs. 5900/- is remitted for participating in counselling process.
- Students are selected on the basis of rank secured via VITEEE Cbt exam 2026.
- Based on the ranking, selected candidates can participate in online counselling. They can give options for specific programme, campus, category of fees. Seat allotment is done based on obtained rank, given preferences and seats availability at the time of online counselling.
- Students need to upload the higher secondary exam hall ticket to download provisional admission letter after remittance of tuition fee.
- The eligibility of candidates is verified by VIT on completion of tuition fee payment. On the day of reporting to the campus students are requited to produce documents or as asked by the Office of Admissions. Provisional Admission offered at the time of counselling is valid only if eligibility is fulfilled.
- The process of counselling is common for VIT Group of Institutions. The online process of counselling will be organised in five phases. The rank, schedule, choice entry isavailable in counselling portal. Applicants who fail to appear in their phase of counselling are eligible to appear in next phase based on rank, but limited to available choices in that phase.
- Provisional admission letter is made available in portal after the required fee is paid via online portal after conformation of allotment.
- Once allotted programme/ campus/ fee category cannot be changed.
VITEEE Document Verification
Candidate should produce the following documents in original along with two-set of photocopies while reporting to counselling for Verification:

Important Counselling Instructions
Students must note below important points discussed about VITEEE counselling:
- All the photo copies of documents are archived and will not be returned for any reason.
- Students should submit the qualifying mark statement from the board studied as mentioned on VITEEE application form for verification of genuineness during admission. In case of submission of any fraudulent, incompetent certificate by applicant will lead to legal action and admission accorded will be duly cancelled and no refund will be initiated.
- The qualifying exam mark statement submitted by student will be verified from respective board.
