NDA Exam Update: Union Public Service Commission is going to close the NDA 1 2026 application form submission window today. It was opened on 10th December 2025.
NDA 2026 aspirants are given 20 days to submit the online application form. Other than online, candidates dont have any other mode, through post or offline, to submit the form.

NDA Last Day To Apply 2026
As per the UPSC NDA 2026 schedule, the last day to apply for session 1 is 30th December 2025. Once the registration is closed, no requests will be accepted by the authority.
Candidates who have met the NDA eligibility are advised not to wait for the last day to apply, as at times the website experiences traffic.
For this session, a few changes have been made to the NDA exam, which include Live Photo Capture Required in CAF. Make sure to go through the complete notification before applying to avoid form rejection.
For this session, as per the NDA notification, there are a total of 394 vacancies. In the National Defence Academy, the Army has 208 vacancies, with 198 for males and 10 for females. The Navy offers 42 vacancies in the Executive Branch, including 37 for males and 5 for females.
In the Air Force, there are 92 vacancies for Flying (90 male and 2 female), 18 for Ground Duties (Technical) with 16 male and 2 female seats, and 10 for Ground Duties (Non-Technical) with 8 male and 2 female seats. Additionally, the Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme) has 24 Executive Branch vacancies, including 21 for males and 3 for females, bringing the total to 394 vacancies overall.
UPSC will conduct the NDA 1 2026 exam on 12th April 2026 in offline mode. Candidates whose forms will be accepted by the authority will be allowed to take the exam.
