UCEED & CEED Exam Updates: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay is the authority to conduct the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) and Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED).
For the upcoming session of UCEED 2026 and CEED 2026 examination dates have been announced. All the design aspirants going to take the examination, boost your preparation.

When Is UCEED 2026 & CEED 2026?
IIT Bombay is going to conduct both CEED 2026 and UCEED 2026 examinations on Sunday, 18th January, 2026. Exams will be conducted for 3 hours from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
UCEED: Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design
UCEED serves as the gateway for admission into Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programs offered by IITs and other participating institutes. The exam will be conducted in two parts:
Part A: An online examination assessing candidates’ analytical and reasoning abilities.
Part B: An offline examination evaluating drawing and design skills.
UCEED 2026 Pre & Post Exam Schedule
CEED: Common Entrance Examination for Design
CEED is the entrance exam for admission into Master of Design (M.Des) programs at IITs and other premier institutes. Similar to UCEED, CEED comprises two parts:
Part A: An online examination testing general aptitude and awareness.
Part B: An offline examination focusing on visualization, drawing, and design skills.
