KV Institute of Management and Information Studies, Coimbatore

KV Institute of Management and Information Studies also known as KVIMIS, Coimbatore Tamil Nadu was established in the year 2000 with an aim of providing the best affordable and quality education to the students. It started with the first initiative of KV Matriculation School which is located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

KVIMIS is approved by AICTE and is affiliated to Anna University in the year 2009. The Institute is a stand alone business school which is formed and run by a 17 year old trust named KV Charitable Trust known for its commitment towards quality education.

Campus

KVIM is situated in the Coimbatore city also known as Manchester of South India in the Tamil Nadu state. The campus is situated 15kms from the nearest railway station of the district. This place is located in a very calm and peaceful atmosphere with an excellent connectivity to roads, rail and air travel.

Facilities

The College provides various types of facilities to the students such as – Medical facility, Bank facility, postal facilities, internet facilities, canteen, stationery, etc. Also the Institute has a well maintained library which has total number of 4000 books presently. Every year new books are purchased for the library. Overall it contains core & ancillary books which are related to business administration.

The college campus has 24hrs access to Wi-Fi and has fully air conditioned computer labs with internet connectivity. Talking about the medical facilities, at the time of requirement an emergency vehicle and a part time medical doctor for attending the sick students is present.

For postal facilities, daily pickup of post occurs at 3pm. For the stamp requirement, students can seek help from the office. KVIM provides various bank facilities like pickup of cheque and drop facility to Karur Vyasa bank. All the students will be setup with a bank account upon admission.

Besides these facilities, the stores managed by students sells various stationery items as per the requirement of various students. The college canteen provides refreshments to the staff members, day scholars as well as other students.
