Sumandeep Vidyapeeth University, Waghodia

Sumandeep Vidyapeeth University, Waghodia was established in the year 2002. It is a deemed university and approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). The university is imparting excellent academic delivery in management field.

Campus

The university is located in At & Po Pipariya, Taluka Waghodia, Near Shah Medical College, Vadodara, Gujarat which is 12 kms from Vadodara airport and 17 kms from the railway station.

Facilities

The university provides all the necessary facilities to the students such as air-conditioned and spacious classrooms, library which consists of books including management books, newspapers, journals and magazines, separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, a well facilitated computer centre, conference hall, auditorium, banking with ATM services and various other recreational facilities like gymnasium, mess and food court, tranaportation facility and sports facilities for indoor and outdoor games like football, cricket, basketball, tennis etc.

Programmes

The university offers course in Master of Business Administration (MBA). The duration of the MBA programme is two years. In first year students study all the subjects related to the field of management to clear their basics and in the second year they can take any of the specialization of their choice.

Placement

The university has training and placement cell which coordinates for the selection/recruitment/counseling activities in respect of placement of the students. The placement cell conducts various programmes like professional skill development, employability skills, soft skills, interview skills, entrepreneurship skills etc. The placement cell arranges for summer internship training for the students also organizes for guest lectures, workshops, conferences and industrial visits for the students.
