The Maharashtra Board is responsible to organize SSC as well as HSC examination. This board was formed in the year 1966 under Maharashtra Secondary Boards Act 1965. The main head office is situated in Pune city.

Maharashtra SSC Result 2026
Authority will release the result for every participated candidate individually through online mode. The result will be released after a month from the completion of examination. Candidates will be able to check their result from the website of exam conducting authority.
In year 2021, result will be prepared on the basis on internal marks of class 9th and 10th. As per the SSC result evaluation criteria, 50 percent weightage is given to the internal marks of Class 9 and the rest 50 percent to Class 10.
Maharashtra SSC Result 2026 will be published by the Maharashtra board. Candidates will be able to view their result by login using the seat number and other details.

As per the given table, the total numbers of appearing students are fluctuating. In year 2020, 15,75,103 students appeared in the examination. Overall 95.30% students passed the examination, 93.90 % were boys and 96.99 % were girls.
In 2022 year, total 15,62,393 students have appeared in the exam out of which only 15,14,584 students passed the exam. The overall passing percentage of 2022 was 96.94%.
In year 2023, total 15, 29, 096 students appeared in the examination, out of which 14,34,898 qualified the examination. Total of 93.83 % qualified the examination. 92.05% were boys & 95.87% were girls.
In the year 2024, total 15,49,326 students have appeared in the exam & 14,34,893 got passed. Overall passing percentage was 95.81%.
In 2025, total 15,98,553 candidates have appeared in the exam out of which 14,87,399 students has cleared the exam. The overall passing percentage is 94.10%.
