B.J.S. Rampuria Jain Law College, Bikaner

B.J.S. Rampuria Jain Law College, Bikaner is the pioneer educational institution that was established in the year 1934. It is affiliated to the MGS University, Bikaner and has the approval of Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi. It is the center of excellence imparting professional legal education to the students.

Campus

B.J.S. Rampuria Jain Law College, Bikaner facilitates world-class infrastructure situated in the heart of the city Bikaner. It is located in Sector-III, JNV Circle, Jai Narayan Vyas Colony, Bikaner, Rajasthan. The campus is divided into various functional zones such as Academic and Administrative Blocks. The college campus can be easily approached by road and connected with all the major cities.

Facilities

The college provides a lot of infrastructural facilities to its students. It has modern well-equipped classrooms that facilitates the learning efficiently. Library of the college is well-stocked by text books, reference books, journals and magazines. The University owns its own transport for providing transport services to students and staff members. Adequate facilities for indoor and outdoor games, such as basketball, badminton, football, cricket, volleyball, table tennis have been arranged within the college campus for the students. In addition to this, college has a well-furnished canteen that serves hygienic food and refreshments. The college has a moot court where legal education, legal argument simulation activities is carried out.

Programmes

Presently, B.J.S. Rampuria Jain Law College, Bikaner runs 3-years LL.B course, 1-year LL.M programme and 1-year postgraduate diploma. Most sought law courses offered by the college are given below:

Diploma Courses:

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Labour Laws, Labour Welfare and Personal Management
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Criminology and Criminal Administration

UG Courses:

  • LL.B.

PG Courses:

  • LL.M.

Admission

Students who have passed the graduate examination with minimum 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST) are eligible for admission to the LL.B programme. Selection will be done as per the University norms. For admission to the LL.M. programme, the University conducts a separate entrance examination for eligible candidates. Those passed bachelor degree in law with minimum 55% marks are eligible to take admission in postgraduate diploma. Admission will be done as per the guidelines of the University.
