PUCET 2026 Application Form

  • PUCET 2026 application form has been released on 14th November 2025 for various UG level courses. 
  • Registration for various PG courses will be started from April 2026 via online mode
  • Candidates can submit the registration form through online mode, no offline option is available. 
  • Before filling the form, candidates must go through the complete eligibility criteria to avoid rejection. 
  • Start with the registration procedure first by providing the basic information. 
  • After registration, start filling the application form with details such as personal, academic qualification, communication, etc. 
  • Upload the scanned documents such as photograph & signature in prescribed format & size. 
  • During form filling, candidates must be careful as there will be no correction facility provided after submission. 
  • The deadline to submit the application form for UG will be till 22nd April 2026 & till July 2026 for PG courses. 
  • Recheck the details, do not forget to take a hardcopy of application form for further usage in admission. 

Application Fee: 

  • PUCET 2026 application fee can be submitted through online mode only. 
  • Online facilities such as debit card/credit card/ net banking are available
  • Once submitted, application fee cannot be refundable or transferable under any circumstances.

How to Apply for PUCET 2026

  • Step-1: Visit the website of PUCET (Link is given above). 
  • Step-2: On the homepage, press the “Online Registration” link. 
  • Step-3: Register yourself first & start filling the application form. 
  • Step-4: Fill the form with personal, academic qualification, address, etc details. 
  • Step-5: Complete the process by uploading the scanned documents such as photograph, signature etc in prescribed format. 
  • Step-6: Submit the registration fee as per your category. 
  • Step-7: Recheck the filled details once before submitting the form.
  • Step-8: A confirmation webpage will appear on the screen after submitting the form 
  • Step-9: Do not forget to take a hardcopy of application form for further usage in admission. 

PUCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates can check complete PUCET 2026 eligibility norms in the section below: 

For UG Courses: 

  • Qualification: Applying candidates must have qualified class 10+2 level or equivalent from any recognized board. 
  • Subject: In qualifying exam, candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology to be eligible. 
  • Marks: To be eligible, candidates need to score at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam. 
  • Appearing: Those appearing candidates in class 12th level will also be eligible to apply for exam.

For PG Courses (MCA): 

  • Qualification: To be eligible for admission, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized board. 
  • Subject: Candidates must have Mathematics at 10+2 or at graduation level (all three years) to be eligible.  
  • Marks: In the qualifying exam, candidates must score at least 50% marks to apply for admission. 

PUCET 2026 Exam Pattern

  • Exam Mode: PUCET 2026 exam will be conducted through online mode. 
  • Duration: For PUCET PG, 1 hour and 30 minutes & 70 minutes in each section in PUCET UG will be given to solve the exam. 
  • Type of Questions: There will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) asked in the exam. 
  • Medium: Exam will be held in English medium only. 
  • Marking Scheme: For PUCET UG, 2 marks will be given for each correct answer & 1 mark will be given for PUCET PG. 
  • Negative Marking: 25% marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer for PUCET UG exam & there will be no negative marking for PUCET PG exam.

PUCET 2026 Exam Centre

PUCET 2026 Admit Card 

PUCET 2026 admit card will be released on 5th May 2026 for various UG courses & in July 2026 for PG courses. Candidates are suggested to keep the hardcopy of the hall ticket for the day of entrance exam. Hall tickets will be issued through online mode on the Panjab University website. 

Download it using login credentials such as login ID & password in the website. Admit card will consist of the details such as name, exam centre, timings, exam date, signature, etc. To appear for the exam, candidates will have to carry the hardcopy of hall ticket. 

PUCET 2026 Answer Key

Answer key of PUCET 2026 will be published in PDF format. It will be released on 10th May 2026 for UG courses & in June 2026 for PG courses. Candidates will be able to download it through online mode. 

Authority will also provide the facility to raise an objection against the answer key till 12th May 2026 for UG courses. Login details will be required to raise objections. After analyzing all the objections, the result will be prepared by the authority. With the help of the answer key, candidates can predict their estimated score before releasing the result. 

PUCET 2026 Result 

PUCET 2026 Result will be announced after releasing the answer key on the website. It will be published through online mode. Those appearing candidates in the entrance exam will be eligible to access the result by visiting the website. 

Result for UG courses will be released on 28th May 2026 & in July 2026 for PG courses. Login details will be required to access the result. Candidates must keep the hardcopy of the result safe for further usage in counselling. A separate merit list will also be prepared by the authority. 

PUCET 2026 Cut Off 

Cut off will be the minimum marks that candidates must score to be eligible for admission to Panjab University. PUCET 2026 cut off will be released in June 2026 for UG courses & in the last week of August 2026 for PG courses. 

A section wise cut off marks & overall scores obtained by the candidates in entrance exam will be released by the authority. Those candidates who will score higher than the cut off marks will be eligible to participate in further counselling process. 

PUCET 2026 Counselling 

Those candidates who score higher than cut off marks will be eligible to participate in PUCET 2026 counselling session. The authority will invite candidates based on their marks obtained in the entrance exam. Counselling will be conducted through online mode.

Based on the rank of candidates, higher preference will be given to the candidates who score higher marks/ rank, seats will be allocated to the candidates. To confirm the seats, candidates will have to submit the prescribed amount of admission fee along with the documents verification. Candidates will have to carry the original documents for the verification process. List of required documents is mentioned below.
