The exam is conducted for Diploma and B.Sc Degree Holders to offer admission into 2nd year of UG degree courses in the field of Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, and B.Sc Mathematics. Admission will be provided in the second year of BE/B.Tech/B.Pharma courses in AICTE/ PCI – approved colleges located in Andhra Pradesh. AP ECET 2026 Application Correction 

Authority will provide the AP ECET 2026 application correction facility through online mode. In case of any mistake found in specific details furnished in the application, candidates will be able to correct them during the edit window. 

The edit window will  be open for two to three days only. It will be started from April 2026 for registered candidates only. This will be one time opportunity to edit the details, after which no extension will be made.

Details which can be edited will be Name, father name, signature, DOB, photograph, qualifying exam hall ticket number, etc. The details which cannot be changed by the candidates, a written request will be sent to convenor of AP ECET 2026 through email along with valid documents. 

AP ECET 2026 Eligibility Criteria 

Eligibility norms of AP ECET 2026 is mentioned below for offered courses: 

• Nationality: Applying candidates must be Indian National to apply. 
• Domicile: Candidates must be permanent residents of Andhra Pradesh state and satisfy local/non-local status requirements. 
• Qualification: One must obtain a Diploma in Engineering & Technology/ Pharmacy from SBTE of Andhra Pradesh State or any other Diploma from an AICTE approved institution recognized by AP Govt. as equivalent. 
• To be eligible, candidates must hold a 3-year B.Sc. degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects from a recognized university or its equivalent. 
• Marks: In qualifying degree/ diploma, candidates must have passed with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to BC/ST/SC).

How to Apply for AP ECET 2026 

Get step-by-step procedure to apply for AP ECET 2026 exam: 

• Go through the AP ECET website (Link is given above). 
• Press the “Eligibility Criteria and Fee Payment” button. 
• Fill in the details such as Hall Ticket Number, Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, E-Mail ID, Category, etc. 
• Now select the payment option & submit the prescribed amount of registration fee by pressing the “Pay” button. 
• After confirmation of successful payment of fee, go back to the homepage. 
• Select the “Fill Application” tab & fill the registration form. 
• Enter the required details such as payment ID, qualifying exam hall ticket number, mobile number & DOB and press “Proceed to fill application”. 
• Now fill personal details, academic qualification, address & other required information. 
• After form filling, upload the passport size photograph, signature & other documents in prescribed format. 
• Photograph must be uploaded in JPG/JPEG format with size not less than 50 KB, a signature with a size not less than 30 KB. 
• Press the “Preview/ Submit” button, complete details will be displayed on the screen. 
• Before submitting it, preview all furnished details & select the checkbox after reading declaration at the end of page. 
• Lastly, press the “Confirm/ Freeze” button for submitting an application form.
