National Law University (NLU), Delhi is the conducting authority of AILET 2025 entrance examination. All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is a national level entrance examination held once in every year.

AILET 2025 Admit Card

AILET admit card has been released by NLU, Delhi on 26th November 2024. Candidates are able to download the admit card from the website through online mode. To access it, applicants have to enter the login details such as Email ID and password.

It is mandatory to take a hardcopy of the admit card to appear in the examination. Without a valid hardcopy of AILET 2025 admit card along with a Photo ID, candidates will not be allowed to sit inside the exam hall. It consist with the details such as name, exam name, time, date, venue, photograph, signature, etc.

AILET 2025 Exam Pattern

Here are the complete AILET 2025 exam pattern to prepare well for the exam:

  • Exam Mode: Exam will be conducted through offline mode.
  • Sections: There will be 3 sections in the exam. Each section consists of different marks and questions.
  • Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked in the entrance exam.
  • Duration: To solve the exam, total 120 minutes will be given.
  • Total Questions: Total 150 question will be asked in BA. LLB (Hons) and total 100 questions in LLM course.
  • Marking Scheme: For every correct response, 1 mark will be awarded.
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 mark of negative marking will be there for each wrong answer.

AILET 2025 Answer Key

The AILET answer key will be released in the second week of December 2024. It will be available in PDF format on the website. Candidates will be able to download the answer key through online mode.

The window to raise objection to the answer key will also be provide by the authority. In case of any discrepancy in the key, candidates can challenge it through online mode. After examining all the raise objections, the final answer key will be released.

AILET 2025 Result

National Law University (NLU), Delhi will release the AILET result in the third week of December 2024. The result for all the courses will be announced on the same day on the portal of university.  Candidates will be able to download the scorecard through online mode.

Through logging by entering the application number and password, candidates will get their result. those eligible candidates after result will be invited to participate in the counselling procedure. NLU Delhi will sent AILET 2025 counselling invitation to all the qualified candidates in the exam.

AILET 2025 Cut Off

AILET 2025 Cut off will be released by the authority after the declaration of result. It will be released on the website through online mode. In 2024, the AILET cut off was 60-65, 45-50, and 38-40 respectively for general, OBC and EWS categories.

Cut off will be the minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to obtain to get admission to NLU Delhi. It will be released separately for BA LLB and LLM programs on the website.

AILET 2025 Counselling

AILET counselling will be organized to provide admission to the shortlisted candidates. Those candidates whose name will appear in invite list will be eligible to participate in the counselling. The AILET 2025 counselling will begin through online mode.

The counselling list will be prepared for each round based on the performance of the candidates in exam. total four rounds will be organized in counseling session. The seat allotment will be released by the institute on the basis of merit rank of the candidates. those candidates who will be allotted a seat will have to confirm their seats by paying the admission fee.

AILET 2025 Application Form

  • The AILET 2025 application form has been released from 1st August 2024.
  • Registration form can be accessible through online mode only. No offline mode is available.
  • Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria from below before filling the application form.

Application Fee:

  • For reserved (ST/ SC/ PWD) category candidates, fee is of Rs 1500/-.
  • Those BPL candidates of SC/ ST category are exempted from application fee.

How to Apply for AILET 2025

The step-by-step procedure to fill AILET 2025 application form is given below:

  • Step-2: On the homepage, click on the “AILET 2025 Registration” link.
  • Step-3: Start with a registration procedure by entering the necessary details.
  • Step-4: Fill the application form with all the mandatory details.
  • Step-5: Upload the requisite documents such as signature, photo and other required images.
  • Step-6: Now submit the prescribed amount of application fee as per the category.
  • Step-7: Recheck the filled details in form and submit it on the website.
  • Step-8: Take a hardcopy of the filled form and keep it safe for further usage.

AILET 2025 Application Correction

AILET 2025 application correction window will be opened in the second week of November 2024. Those registered candidates in the exam will be eligible to access the correction window. The authority will provide the correction facility only once through online mode.

No further correction facility will be provided after that. Candidates will be required to use their login details to make changes in the form. In application form only few details will be changed during correction window.

AILET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

For B.A.LL.B. (Hons) Course:

  • Qualification: Candidates must complete class 12th level or equivalent exam from a recognized board.
  • Marks: In qualifying exam, candidates must score at least 45% marks for general, 42% for OBC and 40% marks for SC & ST category candidates.
  • Age Criteria: No age limit criteria will be there to apply for the exam.
  • Appearing: Candidates appearing in class 12th level in 2025 will also be eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

For LL.M Course:

  • Qualification: Applying candidates must pass LLB or some equivalent graduation degree from any recognized university to apply.
  • Percentage: Candidates must score at least 55% marks for general and 45% marks for reserved category (SC/ ST and PH) candidates.
  • Age Limit: There will be no age limit to apply for the entrance exam.
  • Appearing: Those appearing candidates in final year of LLB will also be eligible to apply.

For PhD Programme:

  • Qualification: Candidates who have completed LLM or an equivalent law degree from recognized university will be eligible to apply.
  • Marks: Applying candidates must score at least 55% marks for general and 50% marks for SC/ ST/ PWDs category candidates.
  • Age Limit: To apply for the exam, there will be no age limit criteria.
