AILET 2026 Application Form

Pointed below are some important guidelines related to AILET Application Form 2026:

  • AILET 2026 Application Form will be filled by applicants  through online mode
  • Students will be able to register for AILET 2026 exam in first week of August 2025.
  • Students are required to satisfy the eligibility requirements before filling the application form.
  • Provide necessary details like name, mobile number, email ID, academic qualification and other personal information to fill the form.
  • Ensure to upload required documents such as photograph and signature in specific format. 
  • Candidates must take utmost care while filling the form, as correction facility may or may not be provided by the authority. 
  • Last date to fill the AILET 2026 registration form will be till third week of November 2025.
  • Applicants should keep a printout of the filled application form for future references.

Application Fee:

  • Application fee for AILET 2026 must be transferred via online mode.
  • Applicants should remit the fee using net banking, debit card, credit card payment gateways.
  • Registration fee will be Rs. 3500/- for general category and Rs. 1500/- for ST/ SC/PWD category.
  • BPL candidates of SC/ST category will be exempted from paying the application fee.

  • Step-2: Click on “Click here to Register for AILET 2026”.
  • Step-3: Enter your name, email ID and nationality and tap on the “Register” button.
  • Step-4: Generate login credentials and proceed filling the application form with personal, qualification, communication, and other asked details.
  • Step-5: Next, upload a latest passport size photograph & signature in given size & format.
  • Step-6: Cross-check all the provided details carefully and submit the application fee.
  • Step-7: After successful payment, keep a printout of the filled application form for future uses. 

AILET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can get details  about AILET Eligibility Criteria 2026 from the below section:

For BA LLB (Hons):

  • Age Limit: There will be no age restriction for AILET 2026 exam.
  • Qualification: Students must have passed 12th level or its equivalent exam from a recognized board/university.
  • Marks: A minimum of 45% marks (42% in case of OBC’s and 40% for SC/ST/PwD) in the qualifying exam will be required.
  • Appearing: Those appearing for or awaiting results will be eligible to apply.

For LLM:

  • Qualification: Candidate should have passed the LL.B or an equivalent degree from a recognised University.
  • Minimum marks: Students will be needed to score a minimum of 50% marks (45% for ST/ SC/ PH category) in the qualifying exam.
  • Appearing: Those candidates who will be appearing for the final year or awaiting results will be eligible to apply.

AILET 2026 Exam Pattern

  • Exam Mode: AILET 2026 exam will be held offline in Pen & Paper Based Test (PBT) mode.
  • Duration: Time allotted to solve the AILET exam will be 2 hours (120 minutes).
  • Sections: Exam will have 3 sections in both UG & PG question paper.
  • Type of Questions: Question Paper for AILET 2026 will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) only.

AILET 2026 Syllabus

AILET Syllabus 2026 will differ for both BA.LLB & LLM programmes. The syllabus for BA LLB course will include English language, Current Affairs and General Knowledge and Logical reasoning. 

Students applying for LLM courses through AILET 2026 should prepare from the curriculum of BA. LLB degree comprising topics such as Legal Theory and Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law, Law of Contracts and other legal subjects.

AILET 2026 Admit Card

AILET admit card 2026 is expected to be released in fourth week of November 2025 via online mode. Candidates who will successfully complete the online registration will be able to access their admit cards through the website. 

To download the AILET 2026 hall ticket, candidates will need to provide their login credentials, such as application number and date of birth. The admit card will comprise of essential details including name, personal details, photograph, signature, exam date, time, & venue & other instructions.

AILET 2026 Answer Key

The authority will display the provisional answer key along with the question paper for AILET 2026 exam through online mode. AILET Answer Key 2026 will be accessible in first week of December 2025 in PDF form.

Students will be invited to raise objections against the answer key by paying a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 500/- per question. A committee will be formed to review these objections and after careful consideration, the final answer key will be published. 

AILET 2026 Result

The institute will declare the AILET Result 2026 via online mode after the completion of exam. It will be announced in second week of December 2025 based on the candidates performance in AILET 2026 exam.

A merit list will be prepared to select eligible candidates for participation in counselling process. Students are suggested to keep their result safe to be produced during the counselling round for verification.

AILET 2026 Cut Off

It will be crucial for applicants to meet the AILET cut off 2026 for admission to BA. LLB (Hons.), LLM and Ph.D programme. The cut off will be released via online mode along with the result, depending on factors like the number of test takers, seats available, average scores etc. 

The institute will release a separate cut off list for each law programme. Students must score equal or more than the specified cut off scores to be considered for admission in law programmes.

AILET 2026 Counselling

Invitations for AILET 2026 Counselling Procedure will be sent to shortlisted applicants based on the merit list. Students will be needed to complete the online counselling registration and fee submission  in fourth week of December 2025.

AILET Counselling 2026 will be organised by the university in various rounds based on the availability of seats. Shortlisted candidates must pay the counselling registration fee before the specified deadline and also get their original documents verified for confirmation of seats.
