CBSE Revaluation: The Central Board of Secondary Education today has started the CBSE online application for a photocopy of answerbook for Exam 2025 (Main) via online mode.
There is no other mode to apply for revaluation. Board has activated the link at cbse.gov.in. All the CBSE board students who are unsatisfied with their marks can now obtain a scanned copy of their evaluated answer book, verification of marks, revaluation, or both.
Candidates can apply for revaluation only after receiving their mark sheet. Students are advised to apply only if they are confident, as revaluation does not guarantee an increase in marks, marks may also be reduced.
Students should note that while applying, they have to pay a processing fee. To get a per-subject scanned copy, students have to pay 700 rupees (class 12th) or 500 rupees (class 10th). For per-answer-book verification, students are required to pay 500 rupees and 100 rupees per question.
For the senior secondary, class 12th, from 21st May to 27th May 2025, students can apply to obtain a scanned copy of evaluated answer books, and from 28th May to 3rd April 2025, verification of marks, revaluation, and both will be done.
Whereas for secondary examination, class 10th from 27th May to 02nd June 2025, students can apply to obtain a scanned copy of evaluated answer books, and from 03rd to 07th June 2025, verification of marks, revaluation, and both will be done.
Step-by-Step CBSE Revaluation 2025 Process

Apply to obtain an Answer Sheet
- Visit the CBSE 2025 website
- Click on the ‘Apply for Answer Book’ link
- A login window will appear.
- Select your class, enter your roll number, and other details
- Pay required ₹500–₹700 per subject
- A photocopy of your answer sheet will be available
Apply for Verification of Marks
- Go to the CBSE 2025 website
- Click on ‘Apply for Re-verification’ option.
- A login window will appear.
- Select subject(s) and pay ₹500 per subject
- Click on apply page and submit your request.
- Save the fee processing page for further use.
Apply for Re-evaluation of Specific Answers
- Only students who requested photocopies can apply
- Select up to 10 questions per subject
- Fee: ₹100 per question
- Marks awarded after re-evaluation will be treated as final and cannot be challenged or changed further.
