Below candidates can check some important details about CLAT 2023 registration:

• The application form is available through online mode from 8th August 2022.
• Candidates must check the instruction before filling the CLAT 2023 application form.
• Candidates should fill the application as per their details mentioned in the 10th class certificates.
• After the final submission of application, no correction will be accepted in program, category, and BPL fields.
• The authority will also provide the correction facility in other fields through online mode.
• Candidates have to upload the scanned images of required documents in the correct format.
• Candidates must submit the application form before the due date to avoid any last minute hassles.

Application Fee:

The application fee payment can be done through online mode only. The application fee is non-refundable. Bank transaction charges for remitting the fee online should be charged by the candidates. The application fee for various categories is mentioned below:

• For General/ OBC/ PWD/ NRI/ PIO/ OCI candidates, the application fee is Rs.4000/-.
• For SC/ ST/ BPL category candidates, the application fee is Rs.3500/-.
• Rs.500/- can be charged extra for previous year question papers.

Documents Required for the Application Form:

• Signature of the candidate.
• Front facing passport size recent photograph with plain background.
• SC/ST/OBC Category certificate if you are applying under any reserved category.
• Relevant certificate issued by competent authority if candidate is applying under P.W.D.
• Relevant certificate issued by competent authority if candidate is applying under BPL category.

CLAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Before filling the application, candidates must check the eligibility criteria given below:

For UG Programme:

• Age Limit: No upper age limit to apply for UG courses.
• Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination from any recognized board.
• Percentage: 45% marks for General / OBC / PWD / NRI / PIO / OCI candidates and 40% marks for SC/ST candidates.
• Appearing: Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply.

For PG Programme:

• Qualification: An LL.B Degree or an equivalent examination is necessary to apply for PG courses.
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying exam are eligible to apply.
• Marks Required: For General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories, 50% marks and for SC/ST categories. 45% marks are required.
• Age Limit: No upper age limit prescribed for PG courses.

How to Apply for CLAT 2023

Candidates can follow the below given procedure to fill the application form:

• Visit the official application link (Link is provided above).
• Click on the CLAT 2023 option.
• The login page will appear on the screen, click on the “Register” button.
• Now, enter the registration details like Name, mobile number, Email ID and password.
• Click on the “Register” button.
• Verify your account through the OTP received by the candidates.
• Enter the OTP and click on “Activate” button.
• Login again with the generated Email ID and password and proceed to fill application.
• Now, select the course you are applying for.
• Fill personal, communication, qualifying exam, preference and reservation details in the application.
• Upload the scanned images of photograph, signature and other required documents as per specification prescribed by the authority.
• Read the declaration & application carefully and final submit the application.
• Now, submit the application fee through online mode.
• The application will be submitted successfully, after the payment of application fee.
• Keep some extra printouts of the application form and keep it safe for further use.
• No need to send the hardcopy of the application to the authority.
