CLAT 2026 Update: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLU) is going to conduct the CLAT 2026 examination.
All the details regarding the Common LAW Admission Test are going to be made available through the CLAT advertisement or notification.

Admission into undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes offered by 24 National Law Universities (NLUs) across India is granted through CLAT 2026, a national-level entrance exam.

CLAT 2026 Dates
Below are the CLAT 2026 dates (tentative) that candidates should know:

For the previous session, the CLAT 2025 notification was released on 07th July 2024. Registration started on 15th July 2024, and the last date to apply was 15th October 2024.
The registration for CLAT 2026 will start in July 2025. All the candidates are advised to start collecting the required documents to fill in the application form and also don’t apply on the first day. We advise you to first go through the complete CLAT notification to know about the complete application process, and then apply.
Only candidates who will submit the application form successfully will be eligible to take the CLAT 2026 examination. It will be held in pen and paper-based mode. CLAT 2025 was held on 01st December 2024.
