Delhi University 2023 Answer Key

After the exam, the University published DU answer key 2023 through online mode. To download the answer key candidates, have to use their DU Admission form number and date of birth.

Challenging of the answer key is allowed after the release of provisional key. The candidates can cross-check their answers and they can calculate their estimate score by using the answer key and marking scheme.

Delhi University Admission 2023 Result

The authorities declares their results through online mode. The result has been declared on 28th June 2023. Based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam, a merit list of the qualified candidates is prepared.

Some courses for which there will be no entrance test, merit list is prepared, and students are selected on the basis of marks secured by them in qualifying exam. Further procedure of admission of the candidates will be carried out as per their names in the merit list.

Delhi University Admission 2023 Cut Off

Delhi University releases the DU cut off marks through online mode. It is announced separately for various programmes offered in Science, Arts, and Commerce streams. The cut off will be prepared depending upon various factors like:

  • Marks secured in the entrance test/ 12th level
  • Number of seats available
  • Number of candidates appearing for the test
  • Previous year cut-off trends, etc.

Delhi University Admission 2023

The DU admission procedure is based on CUET scores and merit basis of qualifying exam. The merit list is prepared on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam or qualifying examination. The candidates will be able to register for admissions through online mode.

Delhi University will conduct the counselling procedure (CSAS – UG/PG) after the declaration of the Merit list/ result. Only shortlisted candidates through the merit list are allowed to participate in the counselling procedure.

Final admission is offered to the students after verification of their documents. Following are the list of documents, candidate must carry during their document verification round:

  • 10th & 12th mark sheets and certificates
  • Migration certificate
  • Graduation mark sheet
  • Transfer certificate
  • Category certificate
  • Character Certificate
  • Valid ID proof
  • Passport size photographs, etc.

Delhi University 2023 Admit Card

Delhi University Admit Card has been released on 19th May 2023 through online mode for both courses. Candidates can download their admit card using their login details. The details of test like name, center, date, roll number, etc. will be communicated to candidates on their admit cards.

Candidates have to carry admit card with one ID Proof. No candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall without showing their valid hall tickets. Admit card is an important document that should be saved till the admission procedure.

Delhi University Admission 2023 Exam Pattern

Candidates can check the Delhi University Exam pattern 2023 in below given section:

For UG (CUET Pattern):

  • Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted through online (CBT) mode only.
  • Type of questions: The questions paper will contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
  • Medium: The exam is offered in 13 languages.
  • Duration: The exam will be conducted on multiple days in three slots per day.
  • Number of Questions: There will be total 100 questions in the exam.
  • Marking Scheme: For every correct answer 5 marks will be given, and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.

For PG (CUET Pattern):

  • Mode of exam: The exam will be conducted through online mode.
  • Duration: The duration of the paper will be 2 hours to solve the paper.
  • Number of questions: Each question paper will contain 100 questions.
  • Type of question: The question paper will contain Multiple Choice questions.
  • Medium: The paper will be in English language.
  • Marking scheme: 4 marks will be given for every correct answer and -1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Delhi University Admission 2023 Syllabus

Delhi University Syllabus 2023 is different for every offered courses. The candidates need to study the subject from 12th class for UG CUET exam preparation.

For CUET PG exam, candidates need to study the syllabus of concerned UG subjects in which they wish to pursue their post graduation. The syllabus is the corresponding BA /B.Com / B.Sc. or its equivalent syllabus of Delhi University.

How to Apply for Delhi University 2023

  • Visit the online website link (Link is provided above).
  • The candidates have to select the link as per their courses of admission and click on it.
  • Candidates have to click on link “New Registration”.
  • After verification of OTP candidates are redirected to the login page, candidate have to enter the registered email id and password to login.

Delhi University 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Here are course wise details of Delhi University Eligibility criteria for 2023 admissions:

For B.Tech (IT & Mathematical Innovation):

  • Qualification: Candidates must have passed or appeared in the 12th level or its equivalent level examination from any recognized board.
  • Marks: The candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in their qualifying examination.
  • Subjects: Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English (PCME) as mandatory subjects in their qualifying examination.

For M.Com Course:

  • Qualification: Candidates must have passed B.A, BBA, B.Com, or its equivalent examination from any recognized institution.
  • Marks: Candidates must have scored at least 50% marks (45% for OBC, 40% for SC/ ST) in their qualifying examination.

For LLM Course:

  • Qualification: Candidates must have an LLB degree of either 3 or 5 years from any recognized institute.
  • Marks: They must have secured at least 50% marks (45% for OBC and 40% for SC/ ST) in their qualifying examination to be eligible.

For M.Tech Course:

  • Qualification: Applying candidates will require B.Tech/ B.E. or its equivalent degree from any recognized institution.
  • Marks: The candidates will require at least 60% marks (54% for OBC and 40% for SC/ ST) in their qualifying degree to be eligible for admission.

      Candidates must have 55% marks in aggregate of 3 subjects (practical & theory togather) also, they have passed in one compulsory subject i.e. English with 50% marks.
