• Qualification: Candidates must have passed their 10th standard from a recognized board/ university or its equivalent prescribed by the AICTE/ COA. 
• Marks: In the qualifying exam, candidates must score a minimum 35% marks to apply. 
• Subjects: One must have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology (for Diploma in Pharmacy) and English as compulsory subjects to be eligible. 
• Appearing candidates: Those appearing candidates in their qualifying level exam will also be eligible for admission.

How to Apply for HP PAT 2026

In the section below, get step-by-step procedure to apply for HP PAT 2026: 

• Visit the website of HP PAT online (Link is mentioned above). 
• On the homepage, press the “Online Admission – 2026” link. 
• Now click for registration for polytechnic admission in Diploma in Engineering – PAT. 
• You will reach the homepage of “Eakadamik” portal & the information page will appear. 
• Press the “New User Registration” button. 
• Enter the details such as name, phone number, email ID etc. 
• Press the “Submit” button. 
• After submitting the form an email and SMS will be sent to you on your registered email ID and Mobile number. 
• Candidates will be allotted a unique online registration number and the same will be acknowledged through email & SMS.
• Now login using allotted details & password. 
• On the next page, enter all the details as required in form such as personal, academic qualification, communication etc. 
• In case you are non-Himachali, all sub categories would be disabled and are not needed to be filled. 
• Once the form is filled, press on “Save and Proceed” to the Next step button at the end of the form. 
• You will be navigated to Next step to attach “Photograph & Signature”. 
• Upload the documents & press the “Save & Proceed to next step” to make the payment. 
• Photograph must be attached between 10 KB to 1 MB in JPG/ JPEG/PNG format only. 
• Signature must be uploaded between 3 KB to 1 MB in JPG/ JPEG/ PNG format. 
• Now press the “Save & Proceed to Next step” button to navigate the next step. 
• Proceed to submit the application fee using available payment options. 
• Click on the Pay button. 
• You will get an acknowledge screen once your payment is successful. 
• After submitting the form, a confirmation page will appear on the screen. 
• Do not forget to take a hardcopy of application form for further usage in admission.
