IIT JAM 2026 Result
IIT JAM Result 2026 will be released by authority after the conduct of exam. For individual test papers, an All India merit list will be prepared as per the candidate’s secured AIR rank. To check the result, candidates have to use their login credentials such as enrolment ID/ Email ID and password.
Candidates are informed to keep the printout of the result safe till admission as it will be used for selection procedure. On the basis of written exam and some other factors admission will be offered to the qualified candidates.
IIT JAM Result 2026 Dates
IIT JAM 2026 written examination will be conducted on 15th February 2026. IIT JAM 2026 results will be released on 20th March 2026 through online mode. Candidates will be able to download their scorecards from March 2026.
Application form submission for admission process will begin for the upcoming session from March 2026. The JAM admission list will be made available in May 2026 for 1st round.

IIT JAM 2026 Merit List
Candidates will be able to download their IIT JAM 2026 Score Card from March 2026, it will be released after the declaration of results. Qualified candidates can check the All India Rank along with total marks obtained.
On the basis of candidates’ scores, a merit list will be prepared for the selection process. The number of students included in the Merit List (All India) varies on the total number of seats available in each category(OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PwD) in a given subject. Based on prepared merit list, candidates will be called for the counselling process.
Tie Breaking Criteria:
The candidate with a higher ratio of positive marks to negative marks will be given a higher rank in the examination. If this criterion fails to break ties, the students concerned will be awarded the same rank.
IIT JAM Answer Key 2026
IIT JAM 2026 answer key along with question papers will be made available for download from February 2026. Candidates will also allowed to make objections in the answer key on any question along with justification.
Challenges are chargeable of Rs.500 (for each question). The payment can be made through the online payment portal of the JOAPS. After submitting the objection, they will be reviewed by the experts, and based on that IIT JAM 2026 final answer key will be formed.
Those candidates whose challenges will be approved by the experts will get a refund. Complete details regarding the refund policy will be mentioned in the IIT JAM 2026 information bulletin.

After the declaration of results, students will be able to download their scorecard from March 2026. Students will be able to download their scorecard from the website. No hard copy of scorecard is sent to the candidates by the organizing institution. The last day to download the scorecards will be till July 2026.

- Enter the login credentials such as enrolment ID or Email ID and Password.
- Enter the captcha and click on submit button.
- Candidates can also click on ‘Forget Enrolment ID and Password’ in case they forget it.
- The result will appear on the screen.
- Download & keep the photocopy of it till the admission procedure.
