JEE Main Exam Update: The National Testing Agency has officially begun the JEE Main 2026 examination process via online mode.
On 31st October, the JEE Main 2026 registration, information bulletin, and notice were released. All the details for JEE are released.
Now, on 02nd November, the NTA has released a notice informing candidates about the typos and errors in the JEE Main 2026 information bulletin PDF regarding the virtual calculator.
Is JEE Main 2026 Information Bulletin Revised?
Yes, the NTA has revised the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) information bulletin for the 2026 session. All the candidates who will be filling out the registration form are required to go through the revised JEE Main 2026 brochure.
The JEE Main 2026 information bulletin was released on 31st October 2025. Then, after 2 days, on 02nd November 2026, the JEE Main 2026 revised information bulletin was released. All the details for JEE Main 2026 are being released at jeemain.nta.nic.in
There were 90 pages in the previously released bulletin, and the revised bulletin has 91 pages. The brochure has 05 chapters and all the details regarding the JEE Main examination.

The reason behind revising the JEE bulletin is a typographical error in the earlier version mentioned that an onscreen calculator would be available during the exam. NTA, through the revised bulletin, has made clear that for JEE 2026, candidates will not be allowed to use a calculator.

All the JEE 2026 aspirants are advised to continue practicing manual calculations and strengthen their speed and accuracy without relying on digital tools. No electronic devices, such as a calculator, smart watch, phone, etc, are allowed inside the examination hall.
Only a few time is left for the examination. All the candidates are advised to boost their JEE Main exam preparation.
NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2026 session 1 between 21 January 2026 to 30 January 2026. Registration is ongoing, and candidtes can apply till 27th November 2025. The complete dates for JEE Main Session 2 have not been released yet; however, only the exam dates have been announced, i.e., between 2 April 2026 and 9 April 2026.
