Karnataka PGCET 2024 Application Form will be available in the second week of August 2024. The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) conducts the Karnataka PGCET (Post Graduate Common Entrance Test).  It is a state level entrance examination, conducted to provide admission into various PG courses. Eligible candidates will be admitted into M.Tech/ MBA/ MCA/ ME/ M.Arch courses at the various private and government colleges located in the state of Karnataka.

Karnataka PGCET 2024 Application Form

Candidates must read the following information about the Karnataka PGCET 2024 Application Form:

• The Karnataka PGCET 2024 Application Form will be accessible through the online mode.
• Registration process will start in the second week of August 2024.
• Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the application form.
• Fill the application form with details such as personal details, academic level, communication details, etc.
• Candidates must upload the scanned passport size photograph and signature in a specified format while filling out the application form.
• The last date to submit the application form will be till the third week of August 2024.
• The correction facility will be available to the candidates for making changes in details in August 2024.

Karnataka PGCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the exam, candidates should meet the following Karnataka PGCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

For MCA: 

• Qualification: Candidates will be required to hold Bachelor degree from a recognised university or institution.
• Subject: Candidates must have passed B.Sc./B.com/ BA/ BCA with Mathematics subject at 10+2 level or at the graduation level (with additional courses as per the norms of the concerned university).
• Marks: Minimum of 50% marks scored in all subjects in the graduation (45% marks in case of SC/ST and category-1 of Karnataka candidates).

For MBA: 

• Qualification: Candidates must have passed Bachelor degree (minimum of 3 years) or equivalent examination form a recognised board/ university.
• Marks: Students in Bachelor degree must have passed with 50% minimum marks for general (45% marks in case of SC/ST and category-1 of Karnataka category).
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in the final exam in 2024 will also be eligible to apply.

For M.E/ M.Tech/ M.Arch: 

• Qualification: Applicants must have passed qualifying examination in B.Tech/ M.Sc from a recognised institution/ university.
• Score card: The applying candidate must have a valid GATE scorecard.
• Marks: Applicants should have passed 50% minimum marks (45% marks for SC/ST candidates and category-1 of Karnataka category) will be required in the PCM subjects.

How to Apply for Karnataka PGCET 2024 

Here are the steps to apply for Karnataka PGCET 2024 exam:

• Visit to the website (Link will be provided above). 
• Select the link provided on the website for the PGCET registration.
• Select the “new user” button and fill the asked details such as mobile number, email id, etc.
• Now, the user id and password will be sent to the candidate registered mobile number.
• Fill the system generated user id and password on the application form and click the “login button”.
• Now, the candidates must fill the asked details correctly in the application form.
• Fill out the necessary details such as personal information, academic information, the location of the exam, address, etc.
• Upload images of a scanned photograph and signature in the application form.
• The images will only be uploaded in the JPG/ JPEG format.
• Click on the “submit button” after verifying the details filled on the application form.
• The fee will only be paid offline, no other method will be provided. It can be paid via. the challan facility.
• The confirmation page of the application form will be generated only after the applicant will successfully submitting the application fee.
• For future reference, download and print the application form & fee receipt.
