MAT exam is conducted at national level to offer admission in MBA and PG management courses. It is conducted in four sessions every year and students can apply for any session as per their connivence.

Applying for MAT 2026? Check major details & apply instructions from below:

• Candidates are required to apply only online for MAT exam.
• MAT registration form should be filled in English language only.
• Students will be able to fill registration form from first week of December 2025 for February session.
• For each session, candidates have to fill fresh application form.
• Scanned photograph and signature are required to upload in the application form.
• The images should be in JPG or JPEG format.
• Photograph size must be 10KB to 50KB and 5KB to 20 KB for signature.
• Candidates also have to choose MIs (Management Institutions) at the time of form filling.
• Also fill personal, qualification, contact & experience details in the application.
• After filling the application completely, make sure to take printout for future records.
• If any updation or correction required in application form, candidates can edit their filled details except Name, DOB, Mobile Number and Email after the final submission.
• After the last date to submit the application, No MAT Application correction facility will be provided.

Application Fee:

• Form filling & fee payment both will be done through online mode only.
• Candidates can use online payment gateways like net banking, credit card, debit card, Paytm wallet, UPI etc.

• Qualification: Degree holders in any stream are eligible to apply.
• Age Limit: There is no age limit in MAT exam.
• Final Year Candidates: Students appearing in the final year or last semester of their degree can also apply.
• Attempt Limit: No attempt limit to appear in MAT exam. Students can appear as many times as per their choice.

How to Apply for MAT Exam

Candidates can fill the MAT 2026 application form by following the steps given below:

• Visit the MAT official website (link will be given above).
• Now, Click on the “Register” button.
• Enter your full name, email address, mobile number, state, city, password and security code.
• Tick the declaration and click on the “Register” option.
• A verification link will be sent to your email ID and click on “Verify” tab.
• After creating login ID, Now login again to complete the registration process.
• Now, choose your test mode, MI choices, basic details, qualification & experience details.
• Upload the photograph and signature in the correct specification.
• After filling details & uploading images, pay the application fee using online payment gateway.
• Before the final submission, take a review of final filled application form.
• Download the filled registration form for further use.
