NEET 2025 Rule On Multiple Correct Answers or None

While every effort will be made to ensure that each question has one unique answer, in case, it is found that a question has more than one option, it will be dealt with in the following manner:
- (i) If more than one option is found to be correct then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.
- (ii) If all options are found to be correct then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.
- (iii) If none of the options is found correct or a Question is found to be wrong or a Question is dropped then all candidates who have appeared will be given four marks (+4) irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not attempted by the candidate.
NEET question paper 2025 has 180 compulsory questions carrying a total of 720 marks. For each correct answer or the most appropriate answer, candidates will be given Four marks (+4) for any incorrect option (-1). will be given and for unanswered no mark will be awarded.
NEET 2025 Provisional Answer Key PDF
NEET UG 2025 answer key was released on 03rd June 2025 via online mode. The NTA has also given candidates the facility to raise objections against it. The last day to challenge the answer key is 05th June 2025 (05:00 P.m.).
Once the authority closes the objection window experts will review the answers and if any challenge is correct it will be added to the NEET UG final answer key. Based on the candidates’ objections and final answer key result will be declared.
Candidates can expect the NEET UG 2025 result on 14th June 2025. It will be released on online mode. No facility to object to the result is provided by the authority.
