NSD 2021 Application Form Last date is till 22nd September 2021. National School of Drama (NSD) is a theater training institute situated at New Delhi which provides training & education in the direction, acting, design & other fields. It will be conducted by the Minister of culture, Government of India. Candidates seeking admission will have to qualify both parts of selection process as preliminary test & final workshop. Candidates must go through following details regarding NSD Application Form:

• NSD Registration has been made available from 3rd September 2021.
• The last date to submit the application form is till 22nd August 2021.
• Candidates can fill the form for NSD admission 2021 through online mode.
• Candidates also have to attach mentioned documents along with the registration form.
• While filling application form, candidates must not forget to upload passport size photograph & signature in prescribed format.
• Candidates must not forget to provide mail ID & phone number as all important information will be send to it.

Application Fee:

• The application fee is Rs. 50/- for all category candidates.
• Fee can be submitted only through online mode.
• Mode of payment includes credit card, debit card or net banking.
• In any case, the application fee is non-refundable.

Documents/ Details required while filling NSD application form:

• Scanned image of photograph & signature.
• Scanned copy of category certificate (if required)
• Copy of relevant qualification certificate.
• Copy of age proof.
• Copy of recommendation from theater experts.
• Copy of documentary proof of theater experience.
• Credit card/ debit card/ net banking /ATM for fee payment.

Application Fee:

• Candidates can submit NSD 2021 application fee via online & offline both modes.
• Online mode of payment includes credit card/ debit card/ net banking /ATM.
• Demand Draft (DD) must be drawn in favor of the director, National school of Drama, New Delhi through offline payment.
• Online application fee is of Rs. 50/- while offline fee will be of Rs. 225/-.
• The application fee is non-refundable in any case.

NSD Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check following eligibility norms to check whether they are eligible to apply for NSD 2021:

• Nationality: Indian & foreign national both category candidates will be eligible to apply for NSD 2021.
• Qualification: Applying candidates must qualify graduation degree from any recognized university in India or abroad.
• Languages: Applying candidates must be familiar with English & Hindi languages.
• Recommendation: Candidate must have a recommendation letter from at least one theatre expert.
• Experience: Students must have participated in minimum 6 theatre production.
• Upper age limit: He/ She must not be more than 30 years to be eligible.
• Lower age limit: He/ She must be at least 18 years in age.
• Relaxation: 5 year of relaxation will be given to SC/ ST category candidates.

How to Apply for NSD

Candidates must follow following step by step procedure while applying for NSD:

• Visit official website (Link is provided above)
• Click on the given “Apply online” tab button.
• Go through all the instructions & click on the “Register yourself” tab.
• Fill asked & required basic details like candidate’s name, parent’s name, email ID, phone e number etc.
• Save the user ID & password received.
• Now fill other details such as address, qualification, gender etc.
• Upload all the document along with passport size photograph & signature.
• Scanned image of photograph & signature must be in JPG/ JPEG format only.
• Scanned image of photograph must be less than 40 KB.
• Size of signature must be less than 20 KB.
• Other mentioned documents must be less than 100 KB in size.
• After submission of required documents & images re-check & verify the given details.
• After verification proceed to submit the application fee.
• Now click on “Submit” tab.
• A confirmation page will appear on your computer screen.
• Take printout of the confirmation page & keep it safe for future use.
