From the year 2025, the entrance exam of PESSAT for B.Tech admission has been cancelled. Now, B.Tech admissions are done only via JEE Main & KCET scores. Students who are interested in MBA admissions must take the PES Entrance test if they do not have valid MAT/ CAT/ ATMA/ CMAT/ NMAT scores.

PESSAT 2026 Eligibility
Get detailed PESSAT Eligibility criteria for admission in B.Tech and MBA programmes:
- Nationality: Indian nationals (from all states)/ NRIs/ PIOs & foreign nationals can apply.
- Age limit: For UG, minimum age limit is 17 years as of admission year. No upper age limit for UG/ PG.
- B.Tech Qualifying Criteria: Candidates in 10+2 level should have secured 60% aggregate marks in PCM subjects. Provided they should have valid JEE Main/ KCET exam scores.
- MBA Qualifying Criteria: Students should have a Bachelors degree with atleast of 50% marks from a UGC recognised university OR can apply via MAT / CAT / CMAT / ATMA / NMAT scores.

- Subjects: There will be four subjects – English comprehensive/ verbal ability, analytical & logical reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and general awareness.

PESSAT 2026 Syllabus
Students appearing for PESSAT 2026 to get admission in UG courses, should prepare from the syllabus of 11th and 12th level. Whereas, for the ones preparing for PG admissions in PES University should go through undergraduate level syllabus.
Complete syllabus is available online on the website. No syllabus is available for PESSAT B.Tech admissions because they do not conduct any entrance test. They grant admission solely through JEE Main and KCET scores.

Frequently Asked Questions (PESSAT FAQs)
PESSAT Slot Booking 2026
Candidates must note down that PESSAT 2026 slot booking is necessary to get the admit card. The slot booking process will begin from second week of January 2026. Candidates should book their exam slots during the given time frame.
During slot booking process, candidates must choose their exam slots as per their connivence. Once the slot is booked, the admit card will be generated accordingly details filled by the candidate.
PESSAT Admit Card 2026
PESSAT 2026 admit card will be accessible just after the slot booking process. Candidates will be able to download their admit card from the login dashboard after completing the booking process. No candidates will be allowed at the exam centre without admit card.
In case of any correction in the admit card, contact to the university officials immediately. The admit card will have details like candidate’s name, programme applied, roll number, application number, exam venue, exam date & time, photograph etc.
PESSAT Results 2026
The result will be announced within three days after taking the examination. Candidates can view their result by visiting the login dashboard. To view the PESSAT 2026 result, candidates are needed to enter their registered email ID and password.
As per the result/merit list, candidates will be able to participate in further counselling rounds. Candidates make sure to keep their result and application form safe as it will be needed during the verification process.
PESSAT Counselling 2026
PES University will conduct the counselling process through online mode. PESSAT 2026 counselling will be organized at different schedules as per the courses. For B.Tech courses, it will be commenced from August 2025 & for other courses it will begin from October 2025.
For admission through higher fee category (Management Quota), candidates have to contact at the admission office of PES University. For MBA programme, candidates are required to qualify PES Entrance Test & interview process. After the interview process, candidates can proceed for further admission round.
