SAAT exam is conducted to offer admissions in various UG & PG courses offered by constituent institutes / schools of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan. Admission in MBBS, BDS, MD, MS & MDS courses will be done through NEET exam. Candidates can apply only once per programme for SAAT exam.

SAAT 2026 Registration

  • The application form filling process will be organized via online mode only.
  • SAAT Registration will be commenced on different dates as per the rounds.
  • Candidates must check the eligibility criteria of the program they are applying, before filling the application form.
  • Upload the soft copy of photograph, 10th class marksheet and caste certificate (if applicable).
  • The image file should be less than 1 MB and in PNG, GIF, JPG & JPEG format.
  • The acknowledgment of successfully submission of application form will be sent to candidate’s registered Email ID and Mobile Number.

How to Apply for SAAT 2026

Below we have provided the step by step process to fill the SAAT application form:

  • Step-1: Visit the SOA official website (Link will be given above).
  • Step-2: Click on the “Apply for Admission via SAAT 2026”.
  • Step-3: Fill the basic details and complete your registration.
  • Step-4: Verify your mobile number and Email ID for further communication.
  • Step-5: Now, fill remaining details in the application form.
  • Step-6: Upload the required scanned images as per the format.
  • Step-7: Review your filled application and final submit it.

SAAT Eligibility Criteria 2026

Before applying for admission, candidates must check the eligibility below:

For B.Tech (CSE) Courses:

  • Qualifying Exam: 10+2 or equivalent exam passed candidates are eligible to apply.
  • Marks: Minimum 60% marks for general category and 50% marks for SC/ST & OBC. The minimum marks may vary as per the courses.
  • Subjects: Physics & Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with any one from the Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship.

For MBA Courses:

  • Qualifying Exam: Three year duration bachelor degree holders are eligible to apply.
  • Stream: Candidates from any stream Science, Commerce & Arts can apply for admission in MBA.
  • Marks: At least 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST & OBC) are required in the qualifying exam.

SAAT Exam Pattern 2026

Here candidates can check the SAAT exam pattern & marking scheme details:

  • Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted through computer based mode.
  • Duration: The exam duration will be three hours.
  • Type of Questions: Multiple choice questions will be asked in the exam.
  • Language: The medium of exam will be English language.
  • Subjects: For B.Tech, questions will be asked from Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry subjects.
  • Number of Questions: Total 20 questions will be asked from each subject.
  • Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be given for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.

SAAT 2026 Syllabus

Aspirants can check the syllabus through online mode. SOA will release the SAAT Syllabus 2026 in PDF format. The syllabus will be different as per the courses offered under SAAT exam.

For B.Tech, the syllabus will have topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. For B.Pharma, questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics subjects. Candidates make sure to prepare for the exam as per the courses applied.

Candidates appearing for the entrance test, can follow the given below preparation steps:

  • Firstly, be well aware of the exam pattern & syllabus of SAAT exam.

SAAT Admit Card 2026

Candidates who have completed their application in all aspects will be eligible to download the SAAT hall ticket 2026. It will be released through online mode only. Candidates can download their admit card one week before the examination.

The admit card will have details like candidate’s name, address, subject, programme, test centre, test schedule etc. If any mistakes found, the corrections should be noticed to the Director of admissions. No candidate will be allowed to appear for exam without valid admit card and ID proof.

SAAT Result 2026

The result will be announced through online mode. Candidates will be able to check the SAAT exam result within a month after the examination. The result will be available on different dates as per the courses.

On the basis of result, SAAT merit list 2026 will be prepared. The merit list will be released courses and category wise. As per the merit list, candidates will be invited for counselling process. Candidates keep their rank card safe till the admission procedure.

SAAT Admission Process 2026

Candidates will be called for further admission process on the basis of marks scored in the SAAT exam or any other national or state level entrance test. 15% of seats will be filled as per the instructions by UGC and other remaining seats will be allotted through SAAT counselling.

Seats will be allotted to candidates as per the choices filled by candidates, performance in exam, category, availability of seats etc. After the seat allocation, candidates have to report to the college/institution for verification process.
