UGC NET 2025 Exam Pattern
The UGC NET 2025 written test has been conducted through OMR Based mode. Candidates, while preparing for UGC NET exam are advised to go through its complete exam pattern.
Below we have provided the exam pattern for UGC NET 2025:
- Mode of Exam: It has been conducted in OMR Based Mode.
- Session: The exam takes place in two sessions (Paper 1 & Paper 2).
- Medium of Exam: The question booklet will be in both English & Hindi language.
- Duration: The time duration will be 3 hours.
- Type of Questions: Objective type questions will be asked in exam. Candidates will have to select correct response from the given options.
- Number of Questions: Paper 1 will comprise 50 questions, while Paper 2 will comprise 100 questions. All questions are compulsory.
- Marking Scheme: 2 marks will be awarded for each correct response for both papers 1 & 2.
- Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking in the exam.
