UPSEE 2018 Counselling

To get seat in particular course, it is compulsory for the successful candidates of UPSEE to appear in counseling. First counselling round is started from 25th June 2018. The qualified candidates are intimated regarding counselling through newspapers and website. The allotment of seats will depend upon candidate’s rank and availability of seats.

UPSEE Result

The UPSEE 2018 result has been declared on 30th May 2018. Candidates are able to check the result through online mode. For each course, separate merit list will be prepared based on candidate’s performance in UPSEE exam.

UPSEE Cut-Off

The cut-off percentage of marks for merit of qualified candidates is 25% (20% for candidates belonging from SC/ST category). Candidates who will qualify the cut-off criteria will be invited for the counseling round.

UPSEE 2018 Answer Key

Candidates are able to get the UPSEE answer key 2018 through online mode. It has been released after the completion of the examination. The answer key is released separately for all the courses. Through the answer key, candidates can crosscheck their answers and calculate their rough scores.

UPSEE 2019

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Uttar Pradesh will be organizing the UPSEE 2019 examination. It is a state level exam conducted for admission in various courses in the field of engineering & technology, pharmacy, management, etc. It is also conducted for admission in lateral entry in B.Tech, B.Pharm and MCA courses.

FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)

Answer: Online application is the only way for applying UPSEE 2018. There is no other mode except filling the form online.
Answer: Candidates have to download their admit cards  from the official website. Admit card download link will be accessible from 20th April 2018.
Answer: No. Candidates who have passed their 12th from UP are only eligible to claim rural weightage.
Answer: Candidates can correct some selected entries from 26th March to 5th April 2018.
Answer: In the examination of UPSEE, there is no negative marking.
Answer: You can take a fresh printout of confirmation page by login using application number and password.

  • Applications for UPSEE 2018 can be submitted through online mode only.
  • Candidates can fill UPSEE application form by accessing the official website.
  • Online application form was released from 23rd January 2018.
  • Candidates filling the online application form also have to upload scanned images of signature and colored photograph.
  • Applicants need not to send hard copy of filled-in application form/or any document to the University.
  • The university was provided the correction facility in the application form from 26th March 2018.
  • After paying the application fee, candidates can take the printout of “confirmation page” for future record.
  • There is no need to send the confirmation page to the AKTU/UPTU/UPSEE 2018 office. Application number is printed on this confirmation page.

UPSEE Admit Card 2018

UPSEE 2018 admit card is available online from 20th April 2018. Candidates must carry their admit card while going for the examination. The qualified candidates are required to produce the admit card at the time of counselling and admission. So, it should be preserved till the admission process is over.

UPSEE Exam Pattern 2018

Understanding of exam pattern is must for the good preparation. Exam pattern provides an overview about the question paper including number of questions asked in exam, subjects covered, negative marking, etc. Here, we are giving the UPSEE 2018 exam pattern for all 11 papers:

  • Papers: The examination of UPSEE will be conducted for 11 papers.
  • Number of Questions: Paper-1, 2, 3 will contain 150 questions; Paper-5, 6, 7, 8 will contain 75 questions and Paper-9, 10, 11 and 12 will have total 100 questions each. Paper-4 will have 50 questions each of Mathematics & Aesthetic Sensitivity with a total of 100 questions and 2 questions from Drawing Aptitude.
  • Exam Mode: Paper-1, Paper-2, Paper-3 and Paper-4 are the OMR based paper while rest of the papers are Computer Based Tests (CBT).
  • Subjects Covered: The subjects varies paper-wise. Candidates can check details about subjects in each paper from the below table.
  • Type of Questions: All the papers are of objective type (except Drawing Aptitude Test [(Part-B of paper-4)].
  • Exam Duration: The exam is of 3 hours.
  • Marking Scheme: Candidate will receive 4 marks for each correct answer.
  • Negative Marking: No mark (s) will be deducted for any of the wrong response marked by the candidate.

UPSEE 2018 Syllabus

UPSEE 2018 syllabus varies from paper to paper. The examination is held for a total of 11 papers. Each paper covers subject from different areas. It is difficult to write syllabus of all the papers. However, the detailed syllabus will be provided soon. The Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects of paper-1 (B. Tech./B. Tech. Agriculture Engineering) and paper-2 (B. Tech. Bio Technology) typically comprising the important topics of 11th and 12th standard.

How to Prepare for UPSEE

Here, we are highlighting some tips on how to prepare for UPSEE:

  • Firstly, gather all the essential information about UPSEE including syllabus and exam pattern.
  • Lots of study material are available online and offline for UPSEE preparation. Candidates can refer best books for their exam preparation.
  • Time management is very important while preparing for exam as well as when you are in examination hall. So manage your time effectively.
