NEET PG Counselling Update: The NEET PG 2025 candidates who took the examination are now eagerly awaiting the counselling updates and dates.
NBE held the examination on 03rd August 2025. The NEET PG result was declared on 19th August 2025, and scorecards were made available from 29th August 2025.
The NEET PG process now moves to the counselling stage. Till now, official details on the counselling have not yet been released.
Has NEET PG 2025 Counselling Started?
The Medical Counselling Committee is responsible for conducting the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Postgraduate) counselling. The mode of counselling will be online.
MCC till today has not released any information regarding the NEET PG counselling schedule. Last year, the NEET PG 2024 result was announced on 23rd August 2024, and the counselling began on 20th September 2024.
The NEET PG counselling process begins with the verification of the tentative seat matrix by participating institutes. Once the seat details are confirmed, candidates can proceed with registration and payment on the official MCC portal. The next step is choice filling and locking, where candidates select their preferred colleges and courses.
After this, the MCC carries out the processing of seat allotment, followed by the release of the seat allotment result. Candidates who have been allotted seats are now required to report to the institutions.
This year, the NEET PG 2025 counselling registration is expected to begin in the last week of September 2025 or/ first week of October 2025. There are going to be 03 rounds of seat allotment rounds and one online stray vacancy round for the NEET PG counselling.
