Government Law College, Chengalpattu

Government Law College, Chengalpattu is the government law college established in the year 2002. The college is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi. It is the prestigious institution well-known for imparting professional education in the field of law.

Campus

The campus of Government Law College is situated opposite to the NGGO Nagar, Chengalpattu and covering the land area of around 10 acres. The campus is divided into various functional zones such as Academic and Administrative Blocks. Facilities

The college has co-educational facilities with  hostel accommodation for girls. It has Specious seminar Hall, Moot Court Hall, Open air Auditorium and rest rooms for girls and boys. Programmes

Government Law College, Chengalpattu regulates B.A.LL.B. course of five years duration and 3-years LL.B. programme. Each academic year is divided into 2 semesters. Degree will be awarded on successful completion of the course. Students who have passed intermediate examination with 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) are eligible for admission to B.A.LL.B programme. To pursue LLB., one must pass graduation with minimum 45% aggregate marks from a recognized University.
