IM Nanavati Law College, Ahmedabad

IM Nanavati Law College was established in the year of 1956 under the aegis of the Gujarat Law Society (GLS). This college is affiliated with Gujarat University and has an approval of the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi. It is accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) with ‘B’ grade. This college was previously known as the City Law College.

Campus

This college is located at GLS campus, Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad is well-connected to all the major cities of Gujarat state through road and rail transportation. The campus is situated just opposite to the Law Garden.

Facilities

The library has a rich collection of books on various laws. The library collection also comprises of rare and valuable journals, law reports and magazines. The classrooms are fully furnished and equipped with audio-video teaching equipments. It houses a computer and multimedia centre which is equipped with latest computers and net connectivity. Major facilities are indoor and outdoor games facility, transport facility, medical facility, cafeteria, moot court and many others.

IM Nanavati Law College offers admission to various UG and PG courses in law field such as LL.B and LL.M. the duration of LL.B course is three years and the duration of LL.M programme is two years. The law courses offered by this college are listed here:

Admission

Students will get admission on the basis of merit list. A merit list will be prepared as per the marks obtained by the students in the qualifying exam. Merit list will be displayed separately for general and reserved category candidates. Students should meet the eligibility criteria as mentioned by BCI for admission in law courses.
