JIS University, Kolkata is the private University established in the year 2014. The University is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). JIS University has been awarded Grade “A” by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It offers courses in the field of law, engineering, management, science, pharmacy and humanities.

Campus

JIS University has green campus situated near Agarpara, West Bengal. The University campus is easily accessible by roads and well-connected by all the major cities. The campus comprising of state-of-the-art academic block and administrative building.

Programmes

The school of Juridical Sciences of JIS University offers integrated law courses and bachelor of law courses. The duration of the integrated law courses is 5 years divided into 10 semesters and LL.B. programme is of 3 years duration consisting of 6 semesters. Aspirants can take admission in BBA.LL.B. after the completion of 10+2. To take admission in LL.B. course, candidates have to complete the graduation from a recognized University. The school of pharmacy of JIS University offers UG courses in the pharmacy field. Most sought law courses offered by the University are as follows:
