Mahatma Gandhi Law College, Hyderabad

Mahatma Gandhi Law College, Hyderabad was established in the year 1990 by Bhagyanagar Educational Academy. The college has the permanent affiliation from Osmania University, Hyderabad and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi. The college has the aim to impart high quality legal education with the support of its efficient and dedicated faculty members.

Campus

Mahatma Gandhi Law College has beautiful campus situated in Siri Nagar Colony, Beside Ranga Reddy Dist. Court, N.T.R Nagar, L.B. Nagar, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. The campus comprising of an administrative block and academic building equipped with all the modern facilities.

Facilities

The college has a good infrastructure that provides world class facilities to both students and staff members. It is equipped with spacious class rooms, sprawling playground, qualified faculty, well equipped library, In house banking and ATM facility, transportation facility, modern Moot Court Hall and Free Legal Aid Clinic. The entire campus of the college is Wi-Fi enabled. The auditorium and conference hall has the facility of LCD projector, sound system and VSAT communication facility.

Programmes

Mahatma Gandhi Law College, Hyderabad offers 3-years LL.B. and 5-years integrated law programme. It also runs LL.M. programme through regular and distance mode. The annual intake for 3-years LL.B. (Hons.) is 120 seats. Total 20 seats are available for every specialization of LL.M. The specializations available for LL.M. programme are Constitution Law, Corporate Law, Labour Law, Torts and Crimes. Courses offered by this college are mentioned below:

Placement

The college has well-established placement cell that has the responsibilities of placement related activities. The college invites legal firms like Quislex to the campus. Apart from providing placement, the college organizes workshops and seminars to develop the practical knowledge of students.

Admission

Admission to 3-years LL.B and 5-years integrated law programme will be done through LAWCET and through Management Quota. For admission to 2-years LL.M. programme, PGLCET needs to be cleared.
