Maneklal Nanavati Law College, Ahmedabad

Maneklal Nanavati Law College, Ahmedabad was established by the Gujarat Law Society in the year 1961. It is the premier law college affiliated to the Gujarat University and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi. The college has the aim to provide practical and ethical legal education to the students through its qualified, competent and dedicated faculty members.

Campus

Maneklal Nanavati Law College is located at Lal Darwaja, Ahmedabad which is the largest city in the state of Gujarat. The campus of the college is situated opposite to the Dinbai Tower. The campus can be easily approached by road and connected with all the major cities.

Facilities

The college has a spacious library accommodating a rich collection of law books and reference books, Law Journals, encyclopedias and Magazines. The college has separate hostel accommodation for boys and girls. Along with academics, the campus provides all facilities for cultural, recreational and sports activities. Other facilities include well-designed canteen, cafeteria and mess serving hygienic food to the students. It has airy and spacious classrooms that provides conducive learning.

Maneklal Nanavati Law College, Ahmedabad runs bachelor of law and diploma courses in its institution. The duration of LL.B. programme will be 3 years and diploma course is of one year duration.   • Diploma in Labour Laws & Practice (DLP)

  • LL.B.

Admission

The candidates who are possessing bachelor degree in any discipline are eligible for admission to 3-years LL.B. programme. Minimum marks required in the qualifying examination will be 45% marks for unreserved category and 40% marks for reserved category candidates. Admission will be provided as per the guidelines of Gujarat University.
