The National Law Institute University, Bhopal

The National Law Institute University was founded in the year of 1997 by the Act No. 41 of 1997 of the Madhya Pradesh Legislature. It is a national university with an approval of UGC (University Grants Commission). Law courses offered by this university are approved by BCI (Bar Council of India), New Delhi.

Campus

The campus is located near Kerwa Lake on the Kerwa Dam Road, Bhopal. Bhopal is the capital city of the state of Madhya Pradesh. The campus is well-accessible by the all modes of public transportation.

Facilities

This university has a centrally air-conditioned library which is equipped with books, periodicals, databases, national and international journal of Law and Social Sciences. It houses a spacious auditorium, which is well-equipped with audio-video equipments to organize various co-curricular activities. It houses two basketball courts, volleyball and football field, table tennis, pool, etc to provide indoor and outdoor sports facility. Major facilities are computer laboratory, gym, advanced classrooms, debating halls and many others.

The National Law Institute University runs UG, PG, diploma and doctoral courses in the field of law like BA. LL.B (Hons.), LL.M, Ph.D in Law, etc. It also offers PG Diploma in Cyber Law and MS in Cyber Law and Information Security. Some most sought law courses are mentioned below:

Admission

Students will get admission into UG and PG law courses on the basis of CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) examination. Students will be admitted as per their performance in the exam. admission in Ph.D course will be given through an entrance test organized by the university.
