Shree Guru Govind Singh Tricentenery Univeristy (SGT University) came into existence by the Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act No. 8 0f 2013. The aim of the university is to provide the opportunities to all segments of the society. The University is Deemed University which is recognized by the UGC (University Grants Commission).
Campus
Shree guru Govind singh Tricentenery Univeristy (SGT), Gurgaon is spread over 60 acres of land. The University is situated at Chandu-Bhudera on the outskirts of Gurgaon. It is less than 5 kms from Delhi border at Daurela and has an easy and convenient access from I.G International Airport. It also has a SGT Dental College which was established in 2002.
Facilities
The University has well-stocked modern libraries with internet facilities for accessing e-resources and air-conditioned reading environment. It has modern and well-equipped laboratories with scientific equipments for practical exposure of students, hostel facilities with caring environment, transport and medical facilities, sports infrastructure, residential accommodation for academic and non-academic staff, etc.
Programmes
The SGT University imparts education from undergraduate to Ph.D level in Health Sciences, Engineering, and Commerce, Management Sciences, Law, Hotel Management, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Media Management, Social sciences and Agriculture. The University offers only one degree course in Agriculture of four years of duration i.e.:

Placement
The placement department at SGT University not only provides the students with job opportunities, but also grooms the students during their course session in the university. The university has well-staffed Corporate Resource Centre (CRC) that helps students with internships and final placements. The CRC ensures that students are not only get good job opportunities, but are also provided with constant industry interaction during their program. It ties up with industries to arrange guest lectures, industry visits, short-term projects, summer internships, industry workshops & training and finally placements.
