- Qualification: Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognized university or college.
- Age Limit: The maximum age will be 30 years as of the first day of the month for JRF applicants. 5 years of age relaxation will be applicable for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, PwD and Third Gender. There will be no age limit for Assistant Professor Positions.
- Marks: One should have a minimum of 55% marks (50% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category).

UGC NET 2027 Admit Card
Admit card for UGC NET 2027 will be released in June 2027 for the June session. Candidates will be able to download the hall ticket through online mode. Admit card for the December session will be published in December 2027. Login details will be required to access the admit card from the website. Candidates must keep the hardcopy of the hall ticket safe for further usage on the day of exam.
As it will be required at the designated exam center on the specified date, shift & time. Details such as name, venue, exam date, reporting time, exam time, photograph, signature & other details will be present in the admit card. In case of any discrepancy found in the hall ticket, candidates immediately report to the officials for rectification.
UGC NET 2027 Answer Key

UGC NET 2027 Selection Procedure
Those qualified candidates in exam will be eligible for UGC NET 2027 selection procedure. The selection process for assistant professor positions and junior Research Fellowships will be based on candidates scores obtained in the entrance exam. One will be ranked and chosen according to their performance in the entrance exam and cut off scores.
There will be no separate procedure held for selection of qualified candidates for JRF and assistant professor positions. Top 6% of candidates will be selected for assistant professor and JRF eligibility. For NET JRF qualified candidates, a separate merit list will be released by the authority.
