Sri Vijayanagar College of Law, Ananthapuramu was started in the year of 1990. The college is approved by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi. It got affiliation form the Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Andhra Pradesh.

Campus

The campus of the college is situated in the Housing Board Colony, Ananthapuramu, Andhra Pradesh. Ananthapuramu District is surrounded by Rayalaseema Districts – Chittoor, Kadapa, and Kurnool. The college has separate administrative block & academic blocks.

Facilities

There is an internet-equipped library which is occupied with the wide collection of books, law Journals, case reports, periodicals and other Literature on Law. The college has spacious & well-ventilated classrooms with learning & teaching aids & projector. The college also offers the facility of the canteen, playground, medical, seminar hall, conference hall, computer lab, moot court, etc.

Programmes

Sri Vijayanagar College of Law, Ananthapuramu imparts three years Bachelor of Laws (LLB), two years Master of Laws (LLM) & five years integrated programmes, i.e. Bachelor of Arts & Bachelor of Laws (BA LLB) & Bachelor of Business Administration & Bachelor of Laws (BBA LLB). There are 240 seats available for LLB, 120 for BA LLB, 60 for BBA LLB & 40 for LLM course.

  • BBA LLB – 5 years
  • LLB – 3 years
  • LLM – 2 years

Admission

Students will get admission into these courses on the basis of AP LAWCET & AP PGLCET. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission into LLB course is a graduation. Students want admission into BA LLB & BBA LLB programmes, they have to complete their 10+2 examination from a recognized board.  Those seeking admission into LLM course, they have to pass the LLB degree. Students have to score 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST) in the qualifying examination if they will get admission through AP LAWCET & AP PGLCET. Through management quota students have to secure at least 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST category) in the qualifying marks.
