V.T. Choksi Sarvajanik Law College, Surat was established in the year of 1935. The college is affiliated to the Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat. It is approved by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi and the Government of Gujarat. The College is accredited by the NAAC with “B” Grade.

Campus

The college campus is situated in the Opposite Platinum Plaza, Lal Banglow, Athwalines, Surat. The campus is located just 8.4 km away from the Surat Railway Station. The college has a separate Students & Academic blocks.

Facilities

The college has a well-stocked library with a wide collection of books, Law Journals, magazines, reports, periodicals, etc. The library is automated with the installation of SOUL 0.2 Software. There is a facility of seminar hall, canteen, sports & games, conference hall, spacious classrooms, etc. The college also offers the facility of hostel accommodation with mess. The computer labs are well-equipped with the internet connectivity & modern technology.

Programmes

V.T. Choksi Sarvajanik Law College, Surat runs undergraduate & postgraduate courses in the field of law, i.e. Bachelor of Law (LLB) & Master of Law (LLM). The duration of the LLB course is three years & LLM course duration is two years.

Admission

Students who want to get admission into LLB programme, they have to complete their graduation from a recognized university. If students are interested for admission into LLM course, they have to qualify the two-year programme after LLB (Special). The admission into LLB course will be based on the merit of the qualifying examination. Students will get direct admission into LLB programme. The Admission into LLM course will be based on the merit based centralized counselling that will conducted by the Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat.
