Thapar University Admission Procedure 2026
To get admission in TIET (Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology), students can apply via merit list or entrance test organized by the university or other national level tests. Besides merit list, TIET also offer direct admission to students on subject of fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
Thapar University 2026 Admission process will have steps like application form filling, merit list release, choice filling, allocation of seats, document checking, hostel bookings etc. Room allotment in hostels will be done as per the merit basis and availability of seats.
Thapar University Entrance Test 2026

Candidates who will appear in TIET entrance test can check their result through online mode. Thapar University Result 2026 will be announced within a week after the examination. To access the result, students shall have to enter their Student ID and password.
The merit list will be prepared as per the candidates performance in JEE Main, Thapar university entrance test or qualifying exam. In case of tie, the authority will resolve the issue through a tie breaking criterion. Based on merit list, candidates can appear in online or in-person counselling.
Thapar University Counselling 2026
TIET (Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology) offers admission in B.Tech courses through merit of JEE Main or 10+2 or equivalent exam and TIET entrance test. Thapar University 2026 Counselling will be held through online/offline mode. It will be commenced after the publish of merit list.
Seat allocation will be done as per the merit, branch preference filled and category wise availability of seats. The counselling fee can be paid through online or demand draft.
