CUSAT CAT 2026 Application Form

• Application form of CUSAT CAT 2026 has been released on 27th January 2026 for various courses. 
• Candidates can submit the registration form through online mode, no offline option will be available. 
• Through CUET PG rank online for 10% of the sanctioned strength which is reserved as supernumerary seats can also apply. It will not be applicable for MBA admission. 
• Enter the details such as personal, academic qualification, communication information in the application form. 
• Upload the scanned documents such as photograph & signature in prescribed format & size.
• It will be mandatory to attempt the CUSAT CAT entrance exam, for B.Tech admission to all specializations (except for lateral entry/ Marine Engineering). 
• For MBA admission, candidates must have a valid score in any management aptitude test – IIM-CAT, CMAT or KMAT. 
• The deadline to submit the registration form will be till 5th March 2026 for UG & PG courses.

CUSAT CAT 2026 Application Fee: 

• Candidates can submit the application fee via online mode
• Online facility such as debit card, credit card, net banking and UPI payment method are available. 
• Fee is exempted for MBA, M.Tech candidates because of not appearance in CUSAT CAT exam. 
• For candidates applying through CUET PG scores, have to pay CUSAT CAT registration fee. 
• Once paid, application fee cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

CUSAT CAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates can know complete CUSAT CAT 2026 eligibility criteria details: 

For B.Tech Programme: 

• Qualification: Candidates must have passed class 10+2 exam/ Higher Secondary exam of Kerala state or from relevant board. 
• Marks: In 12th level, candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in PCM subjects put together. 5% relaxation in marks is given to SEBC candidates to Kerala state belonging to non-creamy layer category. 
• Subjects: Applying candidates must pass with PCM subjects as optional in the qualifying exam. 
• Selection procedure: For B.Tech admissions to all specialisations (except for CUSAT Engineering admission in lateral entry and Marine Engineering), it is compulsory to attempt CUSAT CAT entrance exam . 

For MBA Programme: 

• Qualification: Applying candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. 
• Qualification Marks: In qualifying exam, candidates must pass with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA grade. Relaxation of 5% in marks is given to the SEBC candidates of Kerala state belonging to non-creamy layer. 
• Valid Scores: Candidates must have valid marks in any of following management aptitude tests – KMAT, CMAT, IIM-CAT.

Steps to Apply for CUSAT CAT 2026 

Candidates can know complete step-by-step CUSAT CAT 2026 apply procedure: 

• Visit the website of CUSAT CAT (Direct Link is given above). 
• On the homepage, click on “New Candidate Registration” option. 
• Start with the registration procedure by entering the basic details. 
• Verify the details by entering the received OTP. 
• Fill the form with details such as personal, academic qualifications & communication details, etc. 
• Upload the scanned documents such as photographs & signature. 
• Documents must be uploaded in size – 130 px x 57 px. 
• Now select the desired programs and test codes for the entrance exam. 
• Pay the application fee as per your category. 
• Select the payment option and submit the application fee. 
• Choose the available test centres from the list. 
• Recheck the details once before submitting it on the website. 
• Press the “Submit” button. 
• A confirmation page will appear on the screen.
