INI SS & INI CET exam is conducted at national level by All India Institute of Medical Sciences. Earlier, AIIMS used to conduct its own entrance exam which has been scrapped & replaced by INI CET & INI SS exams.

• AIIMS PG 2026 application form has been released for MD/ MS courses. 
• Candidates can complete the AIIMS PG 2026 registration procedure via online mode. 
• Before applying, candidates must fulfill the complete eligibility criteria to avoid rejection.

For INI CET: 

• Nationality: Candidates of Indian Nationals/ OCI/ NRI & foreign national can apply for admission. 
• Qualification: Applying candidates must have completed an MBBS degree recognized by MCI/ NMC to be eligible. 
• Percentage: In qualifying degree, candidates must have scored minimum 55% marks for general (50% marks for SC/ ST category). 
• Internship: Applicants will also be required to complete 1 year of rotating internship/ practical training on or before 31st July 2026. 
• Appearing: Those appearing candidates in the final year of qualifying degree will also be eligible to apply for admission. 

For INI SS: 

• Qualification: Candidates must have obtained a MD/ MS degree from any MCI approved board or university to be eligible. 
• Age Limit: Applying candidates age must not be more than 35 years as on 1st January 2026. A maximum of 3 years age relaxation will be given to OBC category and 5 years age relaxation to SC/ ST category. 
• Appearing: Those appearing candidates in their qualifying degree in the year of admission will also apply.
