Assam Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) is an entrance exam conducted every year by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). Assam (PAT) is a state level entrance test that provides admission to the deserving candidates. Admission will be offered to candidates in Diploma, Polytechnic Engineering & Non-Engineering courses. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in exam and will get admission into various Private and Government institutes or colleges across Assam state. • The Application Form for Assam PAT 2024 will be released in second week of April 2024.
• Candidates will be able to submit application form through online mode, no offline mode will be provided by Assam (DET) authority.
• Applicants are advised to fill the form, only if they will be eligible else form will be rejected.
• Aspirants will need to fill the application form with necessary information such as qualification, personal information, academic details, etc. 
• Along with necessary details, aspirants will also need to upload scanned images and signatures in a given format.
• Last date to submit the application form will be in second week of May 2024. 
• Correction facility to edit incorrect details will be open from third week of May 2024. 
• Once the application form is submitted, take a printout for further use in the admission.

Application Fee:

• Aspirants will need to pay Rs. 500/– as an application fee.
• Candidates will be able to submit fee through online or offline gateways. 
• Online mode inlcudes credit card, debit card, net banking.
• Candidates will be able to pay through Challan and deposit the fee at nearby SBI branch for offline way.
• The application fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.

• Nationality: Aspirants must be permanent citizens of India and a resident of Assam. 
• Qualification: Candidate must have completed class 12th from any recognized board.
• Marks criteria: Minimum requirement of marks for general category is 40%, 35% is for SC and 33% is for ST category.
• Subject: Candidates must have a Science stream with Mathematics as mandatory subjects in qualifying exams.
• Medical fitness: Applicants must have a medical fit certificate at the time of admission.

• Generated user id and password will be sent to the registered contact number and email id.
