BHU 2025 Application Form will be released separately for both UG & PG level courses. Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is a university level exam previously conducted as UET & PET. Since year 2022, admission is given to candidates on the basis of CUET scored. For UG courses, CUET UG is conducted & CUET PG is conducted for PG courses. National Testing Agency (NTA) is the conducting authority for both UG & PG level courses. The application form for MBA courses will be released by BHU itself only. It will be mandatory for candidates to appear for CUET exam to get admission in BHU. BHU 2025 Application Form
Candidates must go through following details regarding BHU 2025 Application Form:
- The BHU 2025 application form will be made available via online mode.
- Candidates will be able to submit CUET UG application form from second till third week of February 2025.
- For CUET PG, candidates will be able to make registration second week of December 2024 till second week of February 2025.
- While filling application form, candidates must not forget to upload passport size photograph & signature in prescribed format.
- Authority will also provide correction facility to edit mistakes in the form separately for both courses.
- Students must enter valid phone number & mail ID, as all important information will be sent to it.
- Once all details are completely filled, candidates must not forget to take printout of filled in form for future use.

How to Apply for BHU

- Enter basic details such as candidate’s name, qualification, D.O.B etc.
- An OTP will sent to registered number.
- Through OTP, save application number & password
- Save it for future purpose
- Upload passport size photograph, signature & other documents in prescribed format.
- Re-check complete details in form.
- After re-checking, submit registration fee as per course & category.

BHU 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Students must check following eligibility criteria before applying for BHU 2025:
- Nationality: Indian National Citizen will be eligible to apply.
- Qualification: Candidates must have qualified 12th level examination from any recognized board or university.
- Percentage: One must have scored atleast 50% marks in intermediate examination.
- Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply for BHU 2025.
- Appearing: Candidates appearing in qualifying exam will be also eligible to apply.
BHU 2025 Exam Pattern

For CUET UG:
- Mode of Exam: CUET UG will be held via online mode.
- Questions Type: Question Paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type questions..
- Languages: The exam will be offered in 13 languages as Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odiya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
- Shifts: UG examination will be held in three shifts.
- Marking scheme: +5 marks will be given for each correct answer.
- Negative marking: For each incorrect answer, -1 mark will be deducted.

- Exam Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted through online Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only.
- Shifts: Exam will be held in two shifts.
- Language: Question paper will be in English and Hindi both languages.
- No. of Questions: There will be total 100 questions in question paper.
- Marking scheme: For each correct answer, +4 marks will be given.
- Negative marking: -1 mark will be deducted for an incorrect answer.
BHU 2025 Syllabus
CUET UG will consist of three sections as Section 1A & 1 B (languages), Section 2 (Domain) and Section 3 (General test). Fewer topics under each section will be as follows:
For UG courses:
- Section IA and IB: Language to be tested through Reading Comprehension, Literary and Narrative, Aptitude and Vocabulary.
- Section II: Accountancy, Agriculture, Art Education Sculpture, Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Computer Science, Entrepreneurship, Environmental Studies, Geography.
- Section III: General Awareness, Current Affairs, Aptitude, Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative reasoning, Analytical Reasoning.
For CUET PG, questions will be asked from the relevant field/course opted by the candidates as: Transport Science and Technology, Pharmacy, Public Health, Textile Design, Music, Home Science, Hindu studies, Fine arts, Material Science and Nanotechnology, Zoology, Sanskrit, Medical Laboratory Technology.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)
BHU 2025 Admit Card
BHU 2025 Admit card will be made available via online mode. Candidates must keep their login credentials ready while downloading hall ticket. No candidate will receive it via post or any other offline medium. Hall ticket will consist of all details such as candidate’s name, roll number, D.O.B, exam date, time & venue and exam instructions.
Students must know that authority will first release exam city slip for both CUET UG & CUET PG. After that admit card will be released. It will be mandatory to carry hall ticket along with one ID proof at the time of examination to avoid any kind of rejection.
BHU 2025 Answer Key
Candidates will be able to download BHU 2025 Answer Key via online mode. It will be released separately for both CUET UG & CUET PG. Authority will first publish provisional answer key. Candidates will be given an option to rectify mistakes (if any) in the answer key till limited time period.
After objection period will get over, authority will publish final answer key. It will be published in April 2025 for CUET PG & in May/ June 2025 for CUET UG. It will be published via pdf format only.
BHU 2025 Result
BHU 2025 Result will be made available via online mode. For CUET UG, it will be released in June 2025. Candidates will be able to download it in May 2025 for CUET PG. Candidates must keep their login credentials ready to download result.
Result will be prepared on the basis of final answer key. It will contain details such as candidates name, roll number, marks scored in each subject, total marks & qualifying status. It will be announced separately for both level courses. Further, it will be mandatory for all qualified candidates to participate in counselling process of BHU.
BHU 2025 Cut Off
The BHU 2025 Cut off criteria will be published via online mode. Cut off criteria depends on various factors such as difficulty level of exam, no. of appeared students, pass cut off trends etc. Cut off are the minimum marks one have to score to qualify the examination.
Students must know that CUET will not release any cut off. Hence, BHU will release the cut off on its own. Candidates who will score atleast cut off marks will have to attend counselling process mandatory.
BHU 2025 Counselling
BHU 2025 Counselling will be held via online mode. BHU itself will organize the counselling. All candidates who have qualified their CUET UG or CUET PG level exam will further have to attempt the session. Registered candidates will be given admission after required fee submission & verification round.
