IIT JAM score is used to offer admission in M.Sc., M.Sc. (Tech), MS (Research). M.Sc.- M.Tech. Dual Degree, Joint M.Sc.- Ph.D, M.Sc.- Ph.D Dual degree.

IIT JAM 2026 Pre & Post Exam Dates

The IIT JAM 2026 Application Form will be released on 5th September 2025 through an online process. Candidates will be able to register online through JOAPS till the 12th of October 2025.

The authority will also provide a correction facility to applicants. Candidates will be able to make IIT JAM 2026 Correction in gender, category, and PwD status from November 2025. The IIT JAM 2026 Admit Card will be made available from 5th January 2026.

The IIT JAM 2026 answer key will be released from February 2026. Question papers & responses will also be released along with answer keys.

• Registration forms will be available in online mode, candidates cannot apply via offline mode.
• IIT JAM 2026 application process will include self-registration, form filling, document upload, fee submission, and final submission.
• While applying candidates will be required to enter personal, educational, and other details.
• At the time of registration, candidates will also need to attach a scanned signature and passport-size photograph.
• Application of candidates will be rejected who will not complete the form submission window within the allotted time.
• Candidates can submit the application form by 12th October 2025.
• Applicants are also given the facility to correct the application form.
• Once the application form and fees are submitted candidates are advised to take a printout for further use.
