J&K Polytechnic 2024 Exam will be held via offline mode. J&K Polytechnic also known as J&K PET is conducted every year by the Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Test (JKBOPEE). J&K Polytechnic 2024 Application Form
Candidates must go through following details regarding J&K Polytechnic 2024 Application Form:
- The application form for J&K Polytechnic 2024 will be released from second week of March 2024.
- Candidates will be able to register for J&K PET 2024 till second week of April 2024.
- The application form will be accepted only of eligible candidates, so one must fill the form after checking eligibility.
- While filling application form, candidates must not forget to upload passport size photograph & signature in prescribed format.
- Authority may or may not provide any correction facility, so candidates must fill the form carefully.
- Students are advised not to leave any column empty as an incomplete application form will not be accepted.
- Once all details are completely filled, candidates must take its printout & keep it safe till future use.
Application Fee:
- The application fee will be submitted via online mode.
- Credit card, debit card or net banking method will be used to submit the fee.
- Each category candidates will have to submit Rs. 500/- as their application fee.
- In any case, registration fee will be non-refundable.
J&K Polytechnic 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must check following eligibility norms before applying for J&K Polytechnic 2024:
- Qualification: One must qualify 10th level examination from any recognized board or university.
- Percentage: He/ she must have secured minimum 40% marks (for open category including CDP/ JKPM) & 37% marks (for reserved category as SC/ ST/ RBA/ ALC/ OSC).
- Mandatory subjects: Candidates must have Science & Mathematics as mandatory subjects in 10th level exam.
- Age Limit: There will be no age limit to apply for J&K Polytechnic 2024.
- Appearing: Candidates appearing in 10th in year of admission will be also eligible to apply.
JKPET 2024 Exam Pattern

- Exam Mode: It will be conducted via offline mode (OMR based).
- Number of Questions: There will be total of 180 questions in paper.
- Exam Duration: The candidate will get a maximum of 3 hours duration to complete the paper.
- Questions Type: Multiple-choice questions will be asked in the question paper.
- Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will carry 1 mark.
- Negative Marking: For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

J&K Polytechnic 2024 Admit Card
Candidates will be able to download J&K PET 2024 admit card via online mode. Hall ticket will consist of all exam details such as candidates name, exam timing, venue and exam instructions. Only registered candidates will be able to download admit card.
To download hall ticket, one must enter application number & password. In case of any discrepancy, students must contact with officials for correction. Any incorrect detail in the admit card will lead to rejection of candidature during exam.
JKPET 2024 Answer Key
JKPET 2024 Answer Key will be made available via online mode. It will be released for various sets/ subjects. With the help of answer key, candidates will have an idea of marks scored in the examination.
Authority will also provide limited time for objection against answer key. In case students wants to make any objection, he/ she will be able to do it through login credentials. Once objection period get over, final answer key will be published.

J&K Polytechnic 2024 Result
Candidates will be able to download J&K Polytechnic 2024 Result via online mode. Students will be able to get result in third week of May 2024. Authority may release J&K Polytechnic 2024 result along with the final answer key also.

J&K Polytechnic 2024 Merit List
After few days of declaration of result, exam conducting authority will release J&K Polytechnic 2024 Merit List. It will consists of name of shortlisted candidates for counselling procedure. Merit list will be published in the form of pdf.
In case no entrance exam will be conducted, merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in 10th standard. The rank or scores of candidates will be mentioned in the list with other details.
J&K Polytechnic 2024 Counselling
J&K PET 2024 Counselling process will begin from second week of April 2024. It will be prepared on the basis of final merit list. Candidates whose name will be present in the merit list will have to participate in the counselling process.
Counselling procedure includes various steps such as registration, choice filling, fee payment etc. Selected candidate will have to report at the prescribed centre for document verification & other formalities.
