JoSAA Counselling 2026: The authority has announced the jee main counselling schedule 2026. The official dates have been announced by IIT Roorkee on the official website.

National testing agency has successfully conducted JEE main 2026 on 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th April 2026 for session 2. For JEE Advanced 2026, exam was conducted successfully on 17th May 2026.
JoSAA Counselling 2026 Date & Time
The JoSAA registration begins one day after the release of the JEE Advanced results. Counselling registration and choice filling is scheduled to begin on 2nd June 2026 (17.00) and continue till 11th June 2026.
The counselling process includes steps such as registration, choice filling and locking, mock seat allocation, final seat allotment, document verification & fee payment, reporting to the allotted institute.

JoSAA Counselling Eligibility Criteria 2026
- Candidates passed Class XII or its equivalent with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Biology/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology or other technical vocational subject are eligible.
- For NITs/ GFTIs/ IIITs, he /she should have a valid rank in JEE Main 2026.
- For IIT admissions, candidate should have valid rank in both JEE Mains and JEE Advanced 2026.
- Performance in 12th (only for IITs): Students should have passed 12th with minimum 5 subjects securing atleast 75% marks (65% for ST/SC) OR be among top 20 percentile of successful candidates in 12th board exam.
It is compulsory to register at JoSAA online portal for grab seats allocated through JoSAA in any of the IITs, NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, etc.
