LPU University is a private university situated on the outskirts of Jalandhar, Punjab. Its stands for Lovely Professional University (LPU). Now LPU University become first and only private university in India to host the Honourable PM, Shri Narendra Modi during the Indian Science Congress. Scholarship Brackets:
We are defining 3 Scholarship brackets below in the table. For each category mentioned above 1-3 brackets of Scholarship. Every bracket represents specific criteria which an applicant must fulfil to fall in that particular bracket.

Scholarship on the Basis of LPUNEST
This Lovely Professional University conducts its own test LPUNEST (National Entrance & Scholarship Test). On the basis of the eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship, this test is forms. The scholarship amount is depends on the fee of the programme, date of admission and performance of the candidates in LPUNEST exam.
These are three brackets for LPU Scholarship offers on the basis of LPUNEST:
- LPUNEST Score more than an equal to Category I cut off
- LPUNEST Score more than an equal to Category II cut off
- LPUNEST Score more than or equal to Category III cut off
Scholarship on the Basis of CUET
LPU University also offers the Scholarship on the basis of CUET UG (Common University Entrance Test) to the eligible candidate. Under the Ministry of Education (MoE), CUET UG is begin introduced for admission into all under graduate programmes in all central universities for academic session 2023-24. This CUET exam will provide a common platform and equal opportunities to the candidates across the country.

Scholarship Based on Innovation, Startup & Entrepreneurship
The Lovely Professional University (LPU) offers a special scholarship scheme to the candidates on performance in Innovation, Startup, Entrepreneurship & Hackathons. Those candidates who would like to continue their pursuit of creative minds, the university offers this scholarship to them.
- On the basis of the achievements in the previous two year, the scholarship will be awarded to those students.
- On the basis of the achievements at the international/ national level, the candidates will be selected for the scholarship.
- Final recommendation for the scholarship policy will be given by the selection committee at LPU University.
Scholarship Scheme for Toppers of School Education Boards
The special scholarship of full programme fee waiver to Top 20 rank holders of every recognized school board is offered by LPU university. This scholarship will be provided to the minimum 1000 students of the state, central and open board candidates.
The benefits of the scheme are the full programme fee waiver (including examination fee), and free stay in a four-seater room (Air cooled room) in hostel or free transport facility will be provided to the candidates.
Those candidates whose name is among top 20 rank holders in the merit list and fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be eligible to apply for this scholarship at LPU university.
Scholarship Based on Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards
LPU University also offers Scholarship to the candidates on the basis of their performance in Sports, Cultural, R & D, Co-curricular, Social Service, and Bravery Awards.
